Default Car Cover for Z07 - What are you guys using?

What are my fellow Z07 owners using for car covers? It seems most covers are saying they won't work on Z07 optioned cars. My car is kept indoors, so I'm looking for a high quality dust cover.

Thanks in advance!

I'm the minority for sure but I have California car covers on all the classics but for the Vette I just bought a $69 RainX dust cover in large size. Super soft, breathes and fits fine.

p.s. my garages are climate controlled if that matters

I got the factory one. Fits like a glove and has "Z06" letters on the sides. Love it. Should be able to pick it up from the local dealership.

I went to the fabric store and bought soft flannel fabric in a 120 inch width by 18 ft long. Wash and dry the car and cover.

I don't like any of the car cover's make up with elastic in the edge that sucks. . The flannel cover keeps the dust off
indoors.

I've seen these, and like the looks.

Just to confirm, your car is a Z07 correct?

What a clever idea! Out of curiosity, what did the material cost you?

I'm not a car cover guy but I saw this one at NCM in April and absolutely loved it. My understanding is that you can order it through the dealer accessory catalog. We actually had people come over and think that GM had brought one of the C7.R over.

I would buy one of these right this moment if I could find one. Any body have any luck on finding these?? I looked on the Chevy Accessories website and no dice.

Only about 35-40 dollars or so. Depending what you get it's by the yard by the yard. I found the covers the dealer give's you will mar up your finish taking it off and on. The soft cover does the job indoor only.

I gave my C6 car cover away a few years back------I have been using 3 big bed comforters (and old one my wife was throwing out gave me the idea----and then I bought two new ones on sale). I have a small one car garage, and the comforters just add a little extra protection in case something small fell on the car or someone (me, likely) happened to hit the car with a rake or shovel handle, etc. going in and out of the garage. And with my small grandchildren 'helping' me, who knows what could hit the car. Probably takes less time to put the comforters on and off than it did with the cover-----I just fold them up the same way each time and store them on a chair in front of the car when I take the car out

For the past few months since I got the car I have used my C6 Z06 black cover. Stretchable and fits well still (for Stage I aero at least). Says 505 hp tho

I'm pretty sure I have a C6Z car cover in a closet somewhere. I'll have to see if it will fit!

I'll report back my findings. Yes, I'm Z07.

On my Stage I it is about as stretched as it can get to cover the front splitter (front tip of it), but at the rear I think it would accommodate a Z07 spoiler, as there seems to be plenty of stretch left back there when I put it on my Stage I.

Factory GM outdoor cover
#23187876
Has Z06 in black on sides and corvette flag logos on front and back. Black stripe down middle.
Fit's stage 3 Z07.

I'm not sure how the GM "indoor cover" fits, dealer said it would only fit stage 1 spoiler so that's why they ordered this one for the car.

Anyone have a pic of the GM "indoor cover" #23187874 on a Z06 with z07 package/stage 3 high wicker bill spoiler? Want to see if it fits with the spoiler attached.

I loved my factory indoor Zr1 cover, it had nice soft padding on the inside. Wish this was the same, but it does the job I guess.

I bought the Cover Craft with lock n cable from Southerncarparts. It is an outdoor cover but would work inside as well. Very light and custom fitted.

A ZO 7 is a very unique model of Corvette and requires a special
Cover due to among other things the large brakes.
Not sure they make a cover for this model yet, Moore nerves to be sold
To be viable
Sorry

The aero parts are the only aspect that would make a difference. The brakes are different but behind the same size wheel, and same size tire with different compound. The difference is in the aero, as far as fitment, and a non Z07 can have the stage 3 aero as well.
