2 days ago, Motortrend was putting the stage 1 Z06 M7 in the World's Greatest Drag Race 5. There were also 16 CTS-V, ATS-V coupe, Porsche Caymen GT4,AMG GT S and C63 S.

Should of chose the A8. M7 are 1/2 second slower than autos... at least
i bet the a8 ctsv is almost as fast as the my Z06 lol

They put the m7 in there because these cars are from the best driving car challenge and the m7 is the better driving car. Not faster, but better driving

ctsv a8 i hope is not as fast as m7 z06. That would be a good laugh,.... actaully the a8 big ctsv prob about 2/10s slower than m7 z06. Cant wait to see the results

seen it out here m7s are slower period.
Whats even better is all those other cars tested are automatics. Like i said the m7 vett will prob lose to speed runs vs 1 of those other cars.

i hope they do a 1/4 mile pas. ill say 11.2 for m7 vett and 11.4 for the porker ctsv

MT used a red stage 1 Z06 M7 for the drag race portion of the test but a yellow Z07 (transmission unknown) for the street and track (Laguna Seca) tests.

Looks like the C7 Z06 A8 with the Z07 package is faster that C7 Z06 M7 with Z07 package and the Cadilac in the 0-60, 1/4 mile and 0-150,

But I also noticed even thought the C7 Z06 A8 , is slowing down after 150 mph, due to the Z07 package causing down force..
Why don't they use a C7 Z06 without the Z07 package just as a comparison ... That would really be interesting

average to below average drivers YES the A8 will produce a lower ET in 1320 feet... above average M7 will edge and few tenths faster then a8 will be record setting somewhere somehow,....

Non z07 package M7 for me

regardless it took them 40 seconds to run the 1/4 mile. All those cars are slow.
