B. Why do you have a political position on anything in life, if you don't have specific interest in each and every policy?

I don't think he is clueless. The truth is nobody outside of GM knows. It is possible that the time is slower than the C6 ZR1. It's unlikely but possible. I would guess there is a 75% chance that the C7 Z06 Z07 is faster than the C6 ZR1.I am certainly watching this lap time intrigue with great interest. I'm still not sure that I consider the Z06 to be an altogether better car than the outgoing ZR1. I'm torn over which one to buy. I very nearly bought a C7 Z06 last week, but I am still on the fence. It's going to be one or the other very soon. I miss my 2007 Corvette.
I would say if you don't think that there is at least a very slight chance that the old ZR1 is faster you haven't been paying attention.

C7 Z06 no doubt here. Best handling car. Best car in all areas.
C6 Z06 The ZR1 is a Z06 with a supercharged 6.2. With extra weight
A close call between the C6 Z06 and ZR1.
I had to choose between 2 of the 3.
I kept the 2 Z06's

I received the NCM email news letter today and they announced that registration is open for the Bash.
Among the list of activities at the Bash it said "Jim Mero will be leading a seminar on driving the Nurburgring"

As a purchase I feel fairly certain it is. My interest in releasing the time is for the sake of the brand and the fact the car has been marketed with the shadow of the Nurburgring in the background. I want it released so it can follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and show that continued rise, and set that standard for every generation of Corvette to improve upon.
My ownership of the specific car/model is irrelevant. I've owned multiple Corvettes and I'll continue to own whichever one best suites my needs or my build desires. Right now I just felt torn between a C6Z07 (which I'm still entertaining) or a C7 Z51...or a damn base for that matter. Just typing it I still don't know wtf I want to do.
Considering my C5Z is so put together at this stage, making the next move proves difficult. So much so that I don't even think I can get rid of it.
Go ahead and answer my questions at any time.

Lets face it!
It really doesn't add up for the Z07 Z06 at The Ring! The ZR1 was probably already heating up a lot there according to known information. Of course there was the driver holding on to the ZR1 with little down force for an extended period of time too. But, FI cars get hot when driven hard, and certainly Mero can get it on enough for that.
Therefore, more DF(drag) and more power with less air flow really doesn't add up for the Z07 Z06 there.

Maybe if you spent more time discussing the vehicles, instead of focusing solely on attacking members here, you'd be more valuable. I don't attack people here. I don't even bash Corvettes. I may bring up some data that I disagree with, and challenge, but I keep it factual whenever possible. You, on the other hand, only serve as the protector of the C7Z universe, with your sidekick GP. Neither of which actually owns, or has ever owned, a Corvette with their name on the title.
You called a guy out for not owning a particular Corvette. I brought the same question to you. What is the difference? My Dad owns a Harley Davidson, but I don't claim it as my own. I'll bet the guy you called out has owned more Corvettes than you personally have. And, so have I.
I like Snorman too. I've known him online since maybe 1996 or 1998? He doesn't need your blessing, he earns his own respect online.
