Pulled the trigger...ZERO regrets
With GM eliminating DSOM in January and after much debate and soul searching I pulled the trigger on a new 2016 2LT DSOM Z06 Convertible yesterday. Very excited!
I had to make the 4+ hour drive from Chicago to Detroit to pick it up from a dealer who still had one. Though the roads were really wet from snow melt, it was an amazing "get to know you" ride home.
My first impressions of this beast on the highway is SMOOTH. It is so powerful that every turn and acceleration it does with so little effort...and the supercharger whine is intoxicating.
So after 9 hours driving yesterday I'm off to Vegas, leaving behind the vehicle I SOOOO wish I could bring with me in my carry on!

Nice choice, and I hear ya. I had a blade silver before and (not knocking anyone's choice) it just never stirred my soul the way the DSOM OR AO did.

Congrats...amazing car and an amazing color. I may be a bit partial but I think this is the color that really shows off the shape of the Z best?

Congrats. That is a great color, and it's a shame they dropped it. The Z really pops in that color.

GREAT looking car you have there!!!! Don't think I'm biased but I agree, DSOM POPS in the sun and is always turning heads.. Did I mention, GREAT choice!!! I've had two JSB and loved that color, but DSOM..
