I can't remember if I'm using a 32 or 64gb card but the PDR tells me I have over 700 min of recording time. So figure half or a quarter of that.

I once had PDR software update and the technician elected to go through USB port ignoring GM bulletin (green haze update for 2015 PDR) and that killed the module.
A friend of mine just had the timing PDR update on his car. He is having power loss issue. The technician did the update through USB port.
If you want the timing update for the 2015 PDR go to this location:

http://www.filehosting.org/file/deta...Feb%202017.zip for a download. You will need at least 8 GB capacity to store the files.

When I had it done to my car the mechanic left the files on my SD card and I copied them over to my PC and Zipped them.

One thing I found is it can several tries to get this to work. When I took the car in the mechanic thought it wouldn't be long. After an hour he came out and told me it might be better if I took their courtesy van home. After being at home for a while he called and said they were sending the courtesy van to pick me up. He said he had to stop the process and restart it. But the second time it seemed to load properly and he had a message that did load. However, when I opened the file listing it wasn't loaded so he tried again. This time the thing said it loaded the software in about 30 seconds. When we checked, it was a no go. The fourth time was the magic try. It took about 10 minutes but after the message saying everything was fine it actually showed the new software level on the display. A couple of other people have used this file and have been successful in updating their PDRs.

Just a warning...the files are VIN specific. If you update with Bill's file, it will work but the GM system will flag your software as unknown to the VIN the next time you want GM to update it.

Alex, it seems to me that your thread would be a good place to discuss/collect PDR features that would be nice to have. Maybe GM would even invest a little more to provide a few of them over time. If I'm high jacking just let me know and I'll start a new thread.

Here are is my first choice for a feature enhancement.

My request would be a way to synchronize the start/finish with another file (or be able to choose where a prerecorded lap's finish line is located using the toolbox later). All the data is there but you can't really compare laps well if someone sends you their file with a different start/finish.
