Just ordered a BL-5000SLX QuickJack for my garage.
Does anyone else own one, and how do you like it?
As a note, we'll be using it on our Subie WRX rally car, so the Vette isn't the only car that will benefit (before anyone asks why I'm asking AFTER I bought the thing).

You're going to like it. The setup is straight forward and there's tons of videos on that part. If you're car is completely lowered on the stock bolts, you may not be able to clear depending on side skirts or not. My solution is to drive up on small wood planks on just the front wheels. Nonetheless, it's a huge step up from a jack and jack stands.

It's a 3LZ so she does have skirts, but she's not lowered....yet. That's actually #2 on my to-do list when I get the lift. Sounds like I should prepare ahead and once the bolts are turned, slide some blocks under the wheels prior to lowering it back down. I do see that they state repetedly that the lift needs some vertical space to build lift pressure, like maybe an inch or so of room to move before making contact and taking on load.

I use mine all of the time. Easy to use and doesn't take up much storage space. I have a low garage ceiling so no room for a 2 or 4 post. This suits my needs for now. I use it for my C6 and C7 Z.

My QuickJack took a lot less fluid than the manual ask for. I kept trying to add more, and I made a mess, and I jack it up. The customer service told me that the manual I have is not updated for the new reservoir, and it takes less fluid. So, if you find your reservoir takes less fluid, don't add more and don't panic. They maybe, still, including the old manual.

My 2014 with CF side skirts is lowered all the way on the factory bolts and I don't have any problems using the Quickjack. I did order the extenders for my Honda Pilot because the Quickjack rails barely reach the lift points. Love it. I bought it for working under the car but found it is just as useful to lift the car when detailing the lower part of the car.
Love mine. I got the 12 volt version so I could take it to the track if needed. One big plus with the 12 v is that it lifts the car a lot faster. It's a great tool for the money. One thing to watch out for, at least with mine, I disconnect and reconnect every time I use it. Sometimes the connectors won't go on. All you have to do is hit the down button to release the pressure and will connect up fine. If you force it you can mess up the o-rings in the quick disconnect.
I was just going though this. I was thinking 2 post lift. Then was just thinking of just a new floor jack. Ended up just using my old jack and extra tall stands. Had it on the stands for 4 days.
On thing about on the stands, the car cannot come down.

The Quickjack has mechanical stops at two different heights so they can't be lowered without releasing the stops. The mechanical stops are automatically set when raising the Quickjack so you can't forget to set them. I have really pushed on the car to see how safe they are and I can't budge the car. I have also run my car in gear (wheels spinning at 10 mph in 2nd gear) per the differential fill procedure with no problem. I don't think I would try that on jack stands.
QuickJacks are great, they're a little heavy, but it's representative of the strength.
Far far far safer than jack stands. No comparison really
If you have an epoxy floor, I suggest you buy some cheap carpet to slide them around on. Actually, even without coated floors, moving the jacks into position is so much easier. I bought cheap outdoor gray carpet, works great and keeps my floor clean
I got my Z06 up high enough to pull out the stock exhaust. The Quickjack is a very good system. I used jack stands as secondary safety devices because I have them and I'm really insane about getting under a 2,000 lb car. You don't need them.
Oh ya, and notice the low profile creeper. This is a must.
Quickjack looks like what I have been looking for and at $1,099.00 at Cosco it is not that expensive. Only downside in my opinion is the 21"lift height. Are these things stable enough to put 3" blocks on top to get a little more lift height?

I purchased the optional 3" blocks for mine and they work great. My z06 is at the factory ride hight and if I remember correctly there's less than 1/4" between the top of the spacer and the locked in jack pad adapters I have on my car.
