Default I知 right on wheels

At dealer for wheel alignment yesterday, one of the techs confirmed that a Z06 come of the car hauler went straight to PDI where they confirmed one of the wheels was bent. From Bowling Green to Atlanta straight off truck. Hey GM you listening you are sending out Corvettes with bent wheels when buyer discovers it oh you must to have hit a pot hole. I call BS the kind of money these cars costs the wheels need to be stronger and quit playing with your buyers.

Unbelievable Z51, GM is dropping the ball big time on these C7Zs. They do realize they are losing some of Their best customers over all the different issues (wheels, over heating, paint, E-Diff failures, Alignments, comp seats etc). They are soo open to lawsuits the longer they ignore us. My first vet, I did love it but I知 scared to push it anymore. If GM keeps this ignoring attitude up it will be mine and many of my friends last GM vehicle. 100k vehicle to boot...this is how a company that is Failing acts.

Saw a GM video FROM THE PLANT showing how they drive all the cars over SERIOUS HIGH SPEED BUMPS to settle the suspension factory settings. Claim it isn't fast/severe enough to bend/crack wheels BUT HAVE THEY TESTED 20 out each hundred to make sure? Doubt it. If the car is driven by a human I can see where someone could get real froggy trying for a new best 60' time.

z51's a smart guy w. a LOT of Corvette experience. Don't doubt him. As to the above post, all one can do is wonder when anyone worries about the upcoming C8 in Gen Forum (What level of mechanical issues do you think the ME car will have?). A car and generation that has not even happened yet. But it's got a new cad system for almost eliminating all major problems. The word to look at is 'almost'.

Try this. I'm not so tech savy. Couldn't figure out how to link. Go google C7 videos from Bowling Green. Go down the list about 8 lines to the one with [VIDEO] Nov 2018. At the 16:50, min mark when they finish assembly, they show folks drive it off assembly line fast over the large bumps. .

Yeah, starting at 16:50, and particularly at 17:03. That's a lot rougher than anything I've ever run my car over.

Just took delivery of my '19 this past Thursday. I'll have to check the wheels when I take it out of storage. I believe that GM allows certain things to pass through their inspection process with the intent of having the dealership make repairs or replace certain things. Maybe I'm naive, but it boggles my mind that I paid nearly $100,000 for my car and things like this slip through their "quality control" inspection.

Witty sarcasm...besides a heavy girl can still be a good ride...

I did it just to pizz you off!
Nah, I just wanted to make it easier for others to find, since I thought it was worth seeing. After I found it, I clicked at the bottom right of the video to open it in Youtube, then copied and pasted the youtube address into the post.
