Maybe you wouldn't use that can in the car...

When you remove the inner two cups you are left with an intact upper/outer ring. I cut it open opposite the center section (180 degrees from the center).

I would do one side first to see if it accomplished your goals. Once you cut it the inside cups become worthless and the only thing holding the drinks will be the outer rim. I also took off some of the velcro from the underside of the remaining cup just for ease of removal. The velcro he uses is top-notch and grabs tight.

I just pulled off some of what was there already. Just made a smaller profile.

Received my replacement today and installed it. I think this fits a lot better since it’s much more sturdy. And both sides go down equally. I tried comparing sizes to see if maybe my old one was slightly smaller or bigger but they both looked the same. Maybe I installed the first one wrong but who knows. The sticking is non existent on my new one. So that was a sigh of relief. Thanks for the new one Stopflop! I put my old one in the packaging and WITH THE PERMISSION of Stopflop, if someone wants my original one for only 25 bucks (roughly half) plus shipping, you can pay Stopflop!! Not me!! That’s only if he says it’s okay. You will send him the payment and I’ll ship it. It’s only 25 bucks but that way someone gets a great discount and HE gets something back for his investment. I don’t want to keep two when I only have one vette. STOPFLOP respond here or PM if you’re okay with that and if you are, first person to respond with I’ll take it can get it for half price. Just send the payment to him directly! Thanks again. Here are a few pictures of mine.

But thanks again for the item and I’m glad I have it.
