Auto A8 power down after hitting rev limiter
I’m sure it’s normal, I was roll racing a newer 5.0 mustang. Dropped in manual mode and downshifts to 2nd gear. After I hit it, I didn’t shift quick enough and it powered down after hitting the limiter. I guess with the electronics it doesn’t bump off the limiter but complete shuts the power off.

Damn, i was curious to see how them new 5.0's do against our cars. Those things are pretty fast, especially with that 10 speed auto they have.

You lost to a Mustang? Ugh. Next time put in Manual, drop down to second and after you hit the gas, put the selector back in drive and let the auto shift for you. Now there is a Mustang owner bragging about beating up on a Z06 on social media.

No no no. He knew this was the last run. The other 4 runs he rolled his window down to tell me how fast the Z was. I was surprised how he kept up with the Z but after I hit 3rd I was pulling cars on him.
