Yes, you should but unless you complain of a shudder from the transmission the dealer will want you to pay for it and for a ZO6 of GS you're looking at $350-$450 out of pocket. That;s what I was quoted from a large Chevy dealer that sells a lot of Vettes.
They made a change to the SB regarding the trans flush; I believe in April/May of this year. The dealer will flush the trans now one time under warranty at customer request. I had my 19 done with only a couple thousand miles on it as it was an early build 2019 A8 and probably didn't have the new fluid. I also have a range that I took out of my trade and switched over to the new one. I'd give the range a full 5-stars as it works perfectly. As said above get it directly from Range. They are nice people to deal with and if new software comes out the will update your purchase for free. Definitely IMO a great $200 mod; who the heck wants a 4cyl ZO6 anyway; I didn't buy it for mileage and the 4cyl mode in my 2015 didn't make a big difference anyhow --- plus with X-pipe and the NPP fuse pulled it sounds like sh** cycling back and forth.
I have a current range afm disabler that i was using in my '17 GS A8 that I don't have a use for any more as I traded in the GS on an M7 Z06, if anyone is interested.
My m7 rarely goes into v4 in eco mode qnd I tried my best to be gentle on the throttle.

M7 cars even in eco mode and driving with a light foot would find it hard to get it to hit v4 in all but the perfect conditions. Plenty of videos show m7 cars barely using it despite wanting to use it for long drives.
No, he’s not kidding. On one 140 mile trip with our M7, we were finally able to get the V4 to engage in ECO Mode and were rewarded with 33 MPG while averaging 80 MPH. But on most trips when cruising between 70 and 90, it is almost impossible to get V4 to engage in ECO Mode even when being extremely gentle with throttle imputs. I have great empathy for the A8 crowd who seem to have the exact opposite problem with V4 unwanted engagement in multiple modes. I would find that quite annoying.
My updated Range drained my battery all the way down in 3 weeks of non use.
Where did you get it from? If it came from Amazon it may be claimed to be updated but that a roll of the dice. Check with Range directly and they may help you out with a free reprogram or a good deal on a new unit directly from them.
How long have you been using it? I just ordered mine but you know the internet, if you look you always find out the bad? I’ve heard the issues may not start for for a while. Thx
That is not the case in my 2018 GS with 2800 miles. Goes into V4 even in all modes, even Track. Only in manual does it not engage.
That's normal operation of the AFM in 2016 and newer. Putting a Range module in now is a good idea since once you feel a shudder from the TC, it's too late. Also, as another poster has pointed out, there's apparently a Service Bulletin update that allows for a one time free tx oil change. See below:Originally Posted by tertiumquid

Mine is not shuttering but I want to change it anyway. Called the dealer today and it’s $215 which I don’t mind paying but was told with the strike he can’t get the filter right now. Call back in 2 weeks.

That's a decent price. I see you're in Canton, GA. I'm in Cumming. What dealer are you talking to? BTW it's actually called a "shudder" not a stutter...if you ever have to deal with it at a dealer, it's best to know what the description is because that's what the TSB calls it.
Sorry it was a typo but Thanks. I bought the car from Jim Ellis inside the perimeter but of course didn’t want go out there for service. A few members highly recommended Robert Kidd at Days Chevrolet in Jasper. That’s who I talked to today.

I would be very careful using Day's, only because they do very little with Corvettes and the GS/ZO6 trans/TC oil change is pretty involved. You don't want to have some regular Chevy SUV guy working on it unless he's very knowledgeable with Corvettes. I've bought 3 Vettes from Reggie at Jim Ellis and while Reggie and Vladimir in the Service Dept are good guys, service there for Corvettes can take a while. I got the $400 price from Hendricks in Duluth and they sell and service a lot of Corvettes. I don't like the idea of paying that kind of bucks for a tranny oil change but I trust them to do the job right and in a reasonable amount of time.

I had a 2018 Range sent it back this spring for a updated one. It’s good for about 2 weeks beyond that I’ll have to plug in my battery maintainer
