MACMULKIN E-RAY Order Discussion / Unofficial Waitlist

E-Ray is hardly going electric.. more like adding an electric boost to the same car. I think they are clearly hitting a middle ground for people who actually aren’t interested in going with an EV but would like more usable performance for a touring car with race styling.

I don't expect to see much movement in the list until next year when people can see what the rollout looks like and have a more realistic estimation of delivery timeline. The demand is still way below that of the ZO6. Seems like a quarter or less of the demand based on MM lists.

Posted this on the other MM thread:
I wouldn't sweat the small details like list position vs others. We track it for fun..
I trust that MM is completely honest and any errors are likely associated with the complex amount of orders combined with tracking via spreadsheet and entering into the display system that we see.
One thing is for sure.. We will all be moving up the list as allocations turn into builds and whether you are 301 or 298 will not make a difference on how quickly you get an Eray.

Cool. I probably met you when we got you "signed in" but I don't remember specifically. I was the homeless-looking guy who was all bundled up because of the cold overnight weather. I hadn't shaved in a long time either... couldn't be bothered because I was too excited about waiting in line for an early ERay allocation!
I think the next morning when we went inside to actually give them our deposits, some people were like, "Who's that guy? Did he jump the line?" (because I'd shaved and put on civilized-looking clothes).

Hoping to get a delivery by May. The black stock wheels seemed to be on constraint out of the gate which could hold my order up.

lol; I do remember. Everyone was crowded near the stairs before their number was called that morning. The previous day I got there around 10:30am. Bob lent me a chair as I was right in front of him.

I don't know which Bob you mean, but I lent someone a chair too because he wasn't able to buy one at 2am when we got there. I see you're in New Hampshire. I was not aware of any other NH people in the line that night/day but had trouble believing I could possibly be the only one!

Hopefully, you won't have to deal with any constraints.

Sold my 2020 to Copeland Chevy in Hyannis a few weeks ago and drove for basically free for 3 years.
Save insurance $$, put sale $$ in a 5.4% CD and my truck in open bay for the winter.
Hope more like April ??. So #19 you are really #6 now? correct?
