I guess, while we're waiting, we are free to speculate -- for $30K price, what kind of power/performance are we wanting/expecting? 650 hp as a starting point? 1/4 mile time and trap speed?
As long as we're guessing: 650 - 675 Crank HP on a DynoJet Dyno, likely less on a Mustang Dyno.
Callaway has indicated a "10 second" 1/4 mi. My guess would be in the high 10s (10.7 - 10.9).

The Callaway SC620 25th Anniverasy B2K went 10.8 @ 128 with 620 crank hp. I would expect better numbers from the Callaway C8, since the C8 is such a powerhouse performer over previous generations...

I bet they come out in the ball park of 700hp (glass ceiling for non fuel modified C8s it seems) and run a 10.6 or 10.7... which will translate real world to 10.8 or 10.9 in "normal" conditions. Kind of like all the other kits out there. I'd be shocked if they come in bringing more power than the prochargers or magnuson/LPE, since it seems everyone is limited by fuel/clutch constraints (per many YT vids and forum thread posts from smarter people than me)...
i think someone above NAILED it. They going after a full oem experience with dealer/warranty continuity more than they are after raw-power/performance. Smart move... as the market for c8 owners willing to drop 60k(all extras plus wheels/tires) AND lose their warranty isn't as large as the pool where people can still take their car to the local dealer for work if something breaks. Just my .02 as an observer.
I'm really looking forward to their performance numbers. Im just a huge fan of all these FI C8s... they sound amazing and they're fun to drive regardless of whose label is stickered on the aero kit.
From what I've seen personally from Callaways by driving/dynoing them. They are over inflated crank hp numbers like most companies like that do. The stock fuel pump/injectors can only handle so much and then clutch longivity.
I'd be willing to bet the car make 560-590rwhp when done. And that might be high by a few recent vehicles I've retuned from callaway recently.
I canceled with them. They did promptly return my deposit, so there's that.
I put a deposit in with Boost District for the LFE/Magnusson a couple of days ago.
We'll see how it goes.
To little to late for us. I requested a refund a week or so ago. They told me it would take two weeks to get it though because it has to be a check. I ordered it so long ago. Between the silence and all F.I kits performing badly, I’m going to continue sitting on the sidelines for now.
I hope this kit is amazing and I will get in at the back of the line.
Callaway reached out to me this morning and they are at a show held at Moroso products in CT today with a car, talking shop.
While I couldn’t make it, it sounded from the texts like they have some pending news. Soon........
So, they reached out not with the actual news, unless we count that the news is that the news is pending?
I'll admit I'm right there in the line of vette loyalists, but between GM locking down mods and modifiers locking down information, this is nowhere as fun as it used to be.

Valid point, SteveL2. That said, given the choice between making the cars easily modified but significantly worse vs. difficult to modify but significantly better, I'll take the latter every time. Just think of the C8 Stingray as the 'ultimate' modded Corvette as the factory put the engine in the rear hatch for you. Then, they offered you the same thing only better with God's own 5.5L V8, albeit at a price point higher than we all thought but let's face it: it performs at a level so far above any front engined Corvette in history (to include the C7 ZR1, so is it really 'overpriced'?).
I've decided that I'll probably get an E-Ray in 2025-2026 and in the meantime, just enjoy the Stingray for what it is and maybe just continue doing a few choice mods to cut weight out of it.
Corvettes at Carlisle is coming up in about 9 weeks. Who would've thought last summer that there would be zero customer cars delivered by the time the show came back around? I'm sure Callaway will be there taking deposits again.
