Funny enough, I had several late C4s and skipped C5 because I didn’t like them. Had a C6. As much as I like the C7, I’ve been on the fence the whole time about them.

Did just see a really pretty GS (not sure of year, it passed me on the highway) in what looked like Black Rose. Very nice color.

I am going to say yes. I am sure that many of the higher ups are Corvette fans. I also know that some engineers own and race their own cars.

I'm sure at the end of the workweek, GM's Corvette folks head to their local watering hole with a laptop and play a drinking game involving the week's comments here at CF.

Hell, maybe we should do the same...

I'm invested in the C7 too. That guy doesn't even own a Corvette. I wouldn't worry with him.

Despite some the nonsense chatter ,and bickering among fellow Vette owners and trolls, I think they would be smart enough to pick up on whats good and whats problematic with their product. It only makes good business sense.. Yes there will always be crackpots and jokers who no matter what you say regarding the Vette, ...but there is still a core of loyal caring Vette enthusiasts who comment sensibly on issues that are important to the Vette they own and drive.....reading the pulse of the owners on what makes the Vette good and bad.only will encourage GM to put out a better product .

GM probably reads the forum and yeah OP I think they definitely sit back and laugh at some of the absurd and ridiculous things said on this forum!

Most of the C6 owners wanted round taillights on the C7. It looks like their opinion was more like Fools Gold.

A bunch of C7 owners with "gold opinions" want the C8 to have a manual transmission. It looks like GM is going to give them the Bronx cheer instead.

If not, they should. Engineers will call people "wrong" when they don't fully understand a system, but that in itself is information. Part of a product sometimes is perception and there is a certain beauty in solving problems with simplicity which in turn is easier to understand by laymen.

But, sometimes the problem is "how do I do this as cheaply as possible" and I wouldn't want to read comments on that, either.

I would like to think they read the forums to get the general pulse of the enthusiasts that post here and I remember when the C7 was released, GM’s liaison was on here quite frequently. The more accurate way to gauge interest, likes and dislikes to help shape future models, design and options is through focus groups that target the demographic they are trying to reach and appeal to.

However, GM isn’t going to spend hundreds of millions of dollars based solely from the opinions of the relatively few that post here.

Wait, what?

Are you trying to say CF members have a vastly inflated self-worth on all things Corvette?
That cannot be...we have the world's greatest Corvette EXPERTS right here!

Really?? I clearly stated how long I have been in Corvettes, go back and read my post, you are truly clueless. GeezThe last Corvette I bought was #551 C6, My C5 was 1008 in 98, my C4 was later, but that has nothing to do with anything. I don't drive a Honda, What I currently drive is my business, and trust me it makes your C7 look like a Honda Accord. I don't advertise my wealth, like the Tennis Golf Nut. For my purposes as it is with many my C6 was perfect for my needs. As I said I sold the C6 in anticipation of the C7 when I saw it, I thought it was simply ugly. and what that has to do with buying a C8 leaves many of us clueless
Get over the fact that there are people in this world that have money but are secure enough they don't have to advertise it and buy the latest Corvette on the planet, especially when it is simply FUGLY.

I'm an actual new C7 Corvette buyer. That's important to GM.
No it isn't , you have your self worth way over inflated, It is us of those who won't buy a C7 that they are interested in. You bought one they have you hooked,,,, thanks for playing. For us of those that didn''t, they want to know why. They could give a crap about you.
I owned my own business, the customers that came in repeatedly I took care of, but the ones that only came once were the ones I wanted to know why, they were my target audience... IE us of those that owned Corvettes in the past but did not buy a C7
My god you are clueless
I am done here battling with some clown that cannot even comprehend a simple post that clearly states how long I have owned Corvettes. and been one of the best earliest adopters, but thinks I need to buy the latest and greatest, just because.

This is fighting an intelligence war with the unarmed.

It's fun to imagine what GM's Ignore list looks like.

To lazy to read if this was said before but since there is a ask Tadge section then yes they do read it. I would imagine they read a lot of forums just to get a general idea of what people think. Social media is powerful and any edge to make your latest and greatest stand out why not.
