To my eyes, LBR is definitely one of the better colors on the C8, like most of the darker colors, which more effectively camouflage some of the design features I'm not terribly fond of.
Why would someone care what other's think? A friend of mine works as a nurse, is around people the last few weeks of their lives. He said once they realize they are going to die soon, 50% of them deeply regret spending most of their lives trying to conform to the expectations they perceive others expected of them then realize they never lived the life they wanted.

Totally agree..... I went with LBR to help "tone down" the black of the side vents.

I really like the LBR I’m 38. It’s a classier color. I could never drive the loud colors. The only color I would question is probably Zeus. I chose the shadow gray myself, I feel the LBR is more bold than that so idk

I could care less what others think of me. Frankly, it's not my business, think what you think but don't expect that your opinion matters to me. Unless you are paying for the car, if I want a pink vette with spinner chrome wheels that's my business. If you are judging me by the color car I like it says more about you than about me.
I am blown away people select a car, its color etc hoping to get approval from others.
One of the most important lessons I learned was at age 10. My brother's friend dad was a wealthy doctor and car collector. On his 16th birthday he told his son he wasn't going to school because they were shopping for a car for him. He was trying to get his son to pick a Ferrari. I was shocked when he pulled up the next day in a rusted out, old impala. I said why didn't you get a Porsche or Ferrari? His answer blew me away. He said if I got a Ferrari all the guys would be envious at school, girls would likely kiss up to me. He said I would never know if it was me or the perception I had money they liked. He said my family has been rich my entire life and it's no big deal to me. Having friends that I know that are true friends matter more. He said because your family doesn't have money that Ferrari means more to you than me, I understand it but at the end of the day if you don't know that the people around you truly care about you what do you really have?

I'm only 72 and I love LBR, especially with chrome wheels.
exactly my color combo. I have 3 vettes. One black with your color interior. A custom resto. One LBR with tan, neutral interior. And, one atomic orange. I only bought it because it was a calloway. And, I am looking for ways to get some of this LBR into the interior and some exterior pin striping on my orange baby. Enjoy your ride.

OMG! What makes NB an old man's shoe? They fit me better than most shoes and my all-terrain model wears pretty well running over hilly and rocky trails. dodging rattlesnakes and tarantulas.

It's not all NBs, just the "Dad Shoe" version. Most brands make them, but NB is the most renowned.
My first new car at age 20 was a 77 Malibu Classic in Firethorn red. At age 50 I bought a new c6 in Monterey red.as stated in my earlier post I'm 62 and just bought a black 2019. Only reason I didn't get LBR is I couldn't find one.

LBR looks really good in bright light. I noticed how beautiful it can appear in one of Shmee150's latest videos. But the one time I saw a LBR C7 in real life, I didn't like the color.
It was just too dark. Didn't look red at all. More like a dark maroon. YMMV
