Default 1LT owners - like it or wish there was more?

I'm not even sure any 1LT's have been delivered yet but curious to those who may have them, do you feel like you are missing anything with the package? I like the red seats only that this package provides vs. going to the 3LT but curious if the other creature features are missed? Is PDR still available on the 1LT? When comparing the trim levels on the builder, this wasn't apparent to me. I do like the camera options on the 2LT as well as the seat adjustability but not a fan of the red dash and door. Will have to redo my 2020 order for 2021 so sorting through how I want to configure.

Thanks all for the information you post in this forum, good stuff!

I am fine with 1LT! There are a few items on 2LT that I would have liked to have, but did not want to pay $7300 +8% NYS tax for the whole package for many items I could care less about!

Go to Chevrolet.com click on C8 specs and compare the 3 trim levels. This will get you all the information you need.

Thank you and yes, as indicated in my post "when comparing the trim levels on the builder", I have done that. I'm curious for those that have the 1LT and are driving them, is the $$ savings of the trim level the way to go. I realize it is all personal preference but curious of the opinion of the current owners vs. my speculation.

PDR and Nav is a stand alone package that can be ordered with 1LT,about 1500$ or so.

My C7 and C8 we’re both ordered in 1LT trim,
sufficient for my use...

No blindspot monitoring on 1LT. Also, unless you get convertible, the rearview camera mirror isn't included. These are very important especially with a car with a lot of blind spots. I know 1st world problems... Brand new corvette, which package should I get...

What is your speculation? I just purchased a 2019 GS 1LT and I can say I do not miss anything that was included in the 2LT, except maybe the memory seats. Never used heated seats (don't drive it in winter) cooled seats are marginal at best, HUD was no big deal since the info is right in front of you anyway, homelink sometimes is glitchy (no problem using my clicker), one extra speaker no big deal. I used the savings to purchase forged wheels instead of counting on the crappy GM wheels on the GS.
As you said it is personal preference. However, if there are a couple things that you must have, like blind spot and the the rear view camera, then you will regret getting the 1LT.

With the C7, I was glad I got the 2LT simply for the memory seats, easy, entry and exit. It's a sports car so getting in is not easy if the seat is where you need it when driving. The safety features like the blind spot monitoring is very good to have and will save you. Mirrors can only do so much. I love the HUD, nicer stereo and vented seats so it was a no brainer for me to select the 2LT. I almost went with the 3LT but got the transparent top so eliminated the nice roof liner.

Ordered a 1LT here. Could not justify the 7-8K for a bunch of electronic nice to haves. The value wasn't there for me. I plan on adding the rear view mirror camera aftermarket if it is such a problem, but after sitting in one I think I can make due with the standard mirror. The rest of the 2LT package was all fluff for my use case.

There was an aftermarket fix i used to install wireless front camera on a C7Z 1LZ that plays on an iphone and mirrors to the factory head unit through Carplay. I presume it'll work on too.

No Heads Up Display would be the the one option that would keep me off a 1LT but may not be that important to other buyers.

I will be doing an aftermarket retrofit for rear view mirror once I receive car. Will document it and create DIY for group

I agree- i like the HUD. Z tends to keep the HUD in 1LZ trim so another reason for me to wait.

Thanks! I hadn't seen this thread previous, a front camera is one thing I would be most interested in with the 2LT package. This is a great solution!

I really wish that someone out there that see's a 1LT C8 Corvette with red seats would take a picture of the interior to see if it has red stitching like the "Configurator" shows. Please, some one!?

I had a 2014 C7 1LT. It was ok. I was on a budget. Now getting a C8 2LT with extras. I have a larger budget now.It will be between $85K-$90K.

Like the C7, I'm gunning for 2LT w/ Z51.

Z51 is a deal breaker and I'd like to have the HUD.
