I ordered 1LT Shadow Gray Metallic with Adrenaline Red. However, since money is not an issue, I have made an effort to upgrade to 2LT with GT2 seats. My logic in part was that at resale the 2LT would be in greater demand.
Order Status 3000 since March: Order modifications are generally not doable at this time. My dealer says he'll try at the appropriate time, whatever that means.

These folks have done some 1LT C8's I've heard for rear views while driving forward:

As far as HUD, it is not up high enough to make it worthwhile for me.

I'm not even sure any 1LT's have been delivered yet but curious to those who may have them, do you feel like you are missing anything with the package? I like the red seats only that this package provides vs. going to the 3LT but curious if the other creature features are missed? Is PDR still available on the 1LT? When comparing the trim levels on the builder, this wasn't apparent to me. I do like the camera options on the 2LT as well as the seat adjustability but not a fan of the red dash and door. Will have to redo my 2020 order for 2021 so sorting through how I want to configure.
Thanks all for the information you post in this forum, good stuff!

1LT has a rear view for backing up.
From : https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2020...-your-options/
Chevrolet does care about your safety and so if you go with the 1LT trim package, you miss out on the goodies above, but your Corvette will be equipped with the UVB HD Rear Vision Camera that serves as a back-up camera.

Thanks guys. Paying it forward from when I got help.
I've updated that thread with tweaks to improve the stability of the apps.
Nice thing is you could theoretically add a front and back camera and just select them through the same app.
edit: Another corollary (I have yet to test) Is you could presumably use this with the 2Lt/Lz grilles with front cameras. Nothing special about the way those cameras work...Just put the right adaptor transformer on the camera power wires to plug into the wireless transmitter...

If it was a daily commute car then 2/3lt would make sense. However, for a weekend cruiser it seems like the money could be better utilized.
Heck, you could almost buy a C5 with the savings

Ordered 1LT after having a 2LT C7. I love my C5 Z06s and they're the epitome of KISS in a sportscar. The heated and vented seats barely worked in my C7 and I never used HUD; even on track. The only thing I'd like to have is memory so I can easily find my positions if anyone else drives the car, but none of that is worth the extra $5K (I ordered my 1LT with nav/PDR). I had multiple students in Corvettes and Camaros with PDR at VIR and I said my next Corvette had to have PDR. No more fumbling around with a go-pro!

I'd like a 0LT, thank you. EVERY version has too much crappola, imho.

A rear view mirror that has to look through 2 layers of glass is standard. The rear deck glass is at an angle too. The upgrade is a rear view camera that is outside of all of the glass by the roof. Again, everything has trade-offs. Night time & Sun behind you, ...can be troublesome with a camera view - drive an RV sometime.

When I was getting insurance quotes from State Farm's online quote estimator before purchasing my 1LZ C7Z06, I noticed they charge about $10/month higher for the 2LZ and the 3LZ, compared to the 1LZ. I suppose they do that cuz that info is in the VIN.

Makes sense, since the 2LT costs over 10% more than a 1LT. The most important option on the 2LT for me is the rear view camera mirror followed by the HUD. I don’t want to sacrifice any visibility of other cars in traffic.

The rearview camera mirror is cool but not 7 grand cool.
use your side mirrors in addition to the rear view mirror Everything will be fine.
for the people considering a do it your self ability to install a rearview camera setup for around $700 that sounds cool.
Labor time 2 or 3 hours sounds like a slam dunk.
thanks in advance Vetteguy453

Ive owned 3 new corvettes over the past two decades..my current daily driver for 142k miles and I never missed any of the 2LT interiors luxuries.
i might put an aftermarket reaview camera if I find I need one.
i wonder if a camera can be put in the stock location from a 2Lt depending how tough it is to remove and repalce that body panel easily.
could possibly power it up and turn on and off remotely along with a rear view camera mirror..
not sure where the camera has to mount. If it could be mounted in the interior compartment or near the licence plate?

Cost breakdown:
$120 for vantop mirror and camera
$200 for camera housing bracket
$300 for camera housing bracket paint job
$14.99 for a pack of beer during my DIY wiring
Total: $634.99

just to be clear I thought there’s a bumper rear view camera that displays to the Inforainment screen. Just don’t have the rear view mirror roof-mounted one...
