Probably no, but I've checked about 6 dealers to see if any of the cars shown in "search inventory" for similar cars were in fact available. Every one so far says they are sold for a customer already. Should I quit looking in this search thing? Why they are even listing these if they are sold? I guess I know the answer to that one...

The trick, as I understand it, is after it shows available on chevy’s website is then to go to the actual dealer’s website and see if it’s still the stock pics, or does the car actually have real pictures of it on the dealer website? If it’s on the ground at the dealer, and available, it’ll have actual pics instead of the ones from the visualizer…that may not always be true, but probably is 90% of the time…

After more than a year wait, this is exactly the way I found my car. I was willing to go where ever i needed to to pick it up. I got lucky and found one locally.

Once a car hits the transport truck leaving Bowling Green headed to the dealership, it will show up on Chevy's search as an available car. Once that transport arrives at the dealership, the cars then stay active (if available) or disappear if they are customer ordered/sold cars. The later is the case with the vast majority of cars.

I found mine this way as well called a dealer which had a close match to my build he said he just sold it but had another on order. He sent me the build sheet it checked most boxes and was built on June 28th. It’s being dropped at my house this evening. Best part of the whole deal was as I called dealers that had one for sale they ALL wanted 10-25 over msrp but this dealer was only wanting msrp so I bought it and had it shipped to my house as it was too late in the build to change the delivery location. 2023 red mist metallic htc 3lt.
