Took the Vette to the dealer today to get annual oil change. I put the Soler into OEM setting when I arrived so as not to surprise the valet when taking the car to the Corvette technician. I went back to pick it up and forgot that I had done that. Car felt like a pig! I soon realized that it was in the OEM mode, and put it back to Sport mode (6). All smiles again! God I love this car!
I recently purchased a unit from them and had a couple of questions and so fired off an email......... within an hour I had a response!!!!!!!! Wish all companies responded as promptly....
Then I get the unit installed............................and discovered a whole new driving experience, what a great addition to the C8. If you are on the fence..... JUST DO IT!
Set mine to sport 5. To punchy. It hunts for gears like a cheap Chevy truck on the steep twisty roads due to the sensitivity. You just reminded me to try a 3 sport setting.
You guys are too sporty for me - I'm stuck at sport 2, sometimes 3.
I was wondering if anyone has had a failure with their Soler throttle controller. If so, what was the failure mode? I can visualize being stuck on the side of the road trying to remove the controller and plug the pedal back in directly - not a pretty picture.

Wonder why? Mine is at Sport 6 and I don't have that issue.
I have a larger ported tb and intake and the car is way too twitchy if I keep it up where you guys do, I swear the pedal senses my brain wants to push it down before I even do it, it's scary. I agree with op tho, once you turn it off and turn it on again it's like Dr Jeckl and Mr Hyde.
What exactly does it do? And can you control it easily from the bluetooth app? Just received the TB from them and thinking about adding the controller.

it quickens the throttle response and how much the throttle body opens vs stock. Feels like a different car driving it, less lag and can feel much more aggressive depending on how you set it.
You can buy solers tb controller or a pedal commander. I have their ported tb and use the pc on all of my vehicles. The pc has 34 different levels of adjustment to dial it in just how you want it. Both that and solers are great products.

Don't even think about it, just do it! Best cheap mod you can make, period! Those that don't have this are missing out.

I wouldn't add the controller just yet until you install the their TB first. That alone with will greatly improve your throttle response without the controller. If you think you need more or less, then get the controller. I had only their TB on my C7 and that's all I needed. Best mod for the money!!

It does nothing that you couldn't do by pushing the pedal a little more.
You're correct but that doesn't convey the feeling of driving with the throttle controller set to sport x. The early responsiveness of the gas pedal is wonderful. When I set it back to OEM setting it feels sluggish.

Not this again.
Throttle controllers (or just tuning throttle expo in HP Tuners) completely change the feel of the car. Yes, you can "just push the pedal more" but it gives the car a feeling of being slow and unresponsive. A big part of sports cars isn't just the ACTUAL speed but it is the feeling of PERCEIVED speed. Better throttle response makes the car more enjoyable for most people.

Says someone who obviously hasn't tried one.
I used to think like you, until someone convinced me to try it. It really does change the feel of the car. Throttle tip-in with the stock settings is very, very lazy, and you have to press the pedal a long way to get the car to take yu seriously.
