Are most people mounting the controller or just tucking it away and using the app?

Tucking it under the carpet behind the pedal and using the app.

I disconnected the controller interface display after install and just use the app...That said, once I settled on a setting (sport 4) I haven't even needed to use the app for quite a while now...

I also tucked the main module and cable under the carpet near the accelerator pedal for a stealth install...

For you guys that installed it. Did you wait until 500 mile break in period? I bought the controller before the car was delivered. I have 370 miles on it now and the controller is here staring at me. I said I’d wait until 500 mile mark. But curious what others did

I am going to treat the next 1500 miles just like the 1st 500 miles. There seems to be An unusual amount of DSC issues and fo t want to give GM any reason to not cover any warranty issues I haven't purchased the optional ins yet as I just brought my new 2024 Z51 out of storage weather still not very good or consistent here in WESTERN N.Y.

No reason to wait until after break-in as the controller doesn't actually impact the engine at all.

^^^
I don't even have the display connected. Just use the cell phone on the rare times I want to change something.

Make sure you install the new one where you can't accidentally bump it!

^^ Same. Zero reason to use the display (unless you do not have a modern phone)

I put the controller on top of the steering column in the flexible boot.

I emailed mike@solerengineering.com and he suggested to check for vacuum leak. Sure enough, I found a disconnected hose under the duct in front of the throttle body. I’ll take it out this weekend and see it that was the problem.

thanks Mike

Mike@solerengineering.com suggested I look for a vacuum leak around the throttle body and duct. Sure enough, found a detached hose under the duct. Reattached and took it out today. Performed beautifully! Thanks Mike!

Default Excellent service!!!!!

I recently purchased a unit from them and had a couple of questions and so fired off an email......... within an hour I had a response!!!!!!!! Wish all companies responded as promptly....

Then I get the unit installed............................and discovered a whole new driving experience, what a great addition to the C8. If you are on the fence..... JUST DO IT!

Default Sport setting

Installed the throttle controller. Super easy process. Started at sport 5. Really touchy. Sport 4 is pretty decent but I think I'm going to compare sport 3 as that may be the sweet spot for me.

I started at Sport 2 as I thought anything higher was too touchy. After I got used to Sport 2, Sport 4 seems to be the sweet spot for me....
