I'm with Guido and about to take out. I put one in the car when it was new and I kept having random issues. I sold it and waited until I did everything. I just keep having to many random things happen and I would rather just put car in Track mode and call it a day. I'll list my experiences:
My biggest concern is I drive fast. I live in the country and have some real stretches. If I floor the car it hangs on to redline and tends to not shift.
Or I will floor the car and if its in say 5 or 6 it will just stay there from 3K rpm and climb instead of downshifting.
Other day it was in a very awry mood. I looked at the display and it had moved to Ludacris 9 or whatever it is.
I just don't like how my car shifts with it
I am going to Disneyland Thur. (I know that sucks lol) but I am taking the caron the 5+ hour drive. Wife will be with me so I will be cool, but I want to see what ECO is all about. I'm taking a 10mm rachet with me. It acts up and I will remove.

The C8 has an adaptive feature and senses when you are driving aggressively and will hold rpms higher and for longer once you start to floor it!
I've had my Soler Controller installed for quite some time now and it continues to work flawlessly...I settled on Sport 4 which I find is perfect for my driving style...
I've also had no issues with Bluetooth connectivity...Usually issues with Bluetooth would be more an issue with the phone than the app itself...
I also disconnected controller interface from the throttle controller for a stealth installation with no exposed wires or plugs...

I could've typed the exact same paragraphs with the only difference being, I settled on sport six.
I have a a soler, controller in every vehicle that supports one

To avoid this sort of comment is why I specifically mentioned my other Bluetooth devices have zero issues connecting. While I only mentioned those devices in the car, I have a lot of others from headphones to GoPro to IoT that also have no issues with my galaxy s22 ultra. I'm a tech guy and pretty familiar with issues related to tech. In this case, the symptoms point to it being the soler.

Sorry to hear your Soler Controller / App has been acting up...Was surprising to hear since this is the first time I heard of anyone having random Bluetooth connectivity issues with the Solar Controller....I be tech guy too! (Engi-nurd here)
1. If I use the phone app can the cars entertainment system see it and can we adjust from there? Android Auto for example?
2. Has anyone purchased their TB and what are your reviews of it? Size? Does size matter? LOL.
3. What is our OEM TB size and would a larger one cause any issues?
4. Any daily driver performance gains from the TB?
Went from a Pedal Commander after 1 yr of no problems to a constant code P2138.
Installed the Soler TC, no issues, accelerates and shifts perfectly on Sport 6.
I do NOT use the app.
Have it velcroed on the lower side of the center console, and no, my right leg does not hit it...
My suggestion (since the wire is coming from the pedal), would be to have the connection on the LEFT side of the unit instead of the right, for a cleaner install for those who want to keep the display installed and accessible.

Hey, great questions!
1. The phone app is only compatible with your cellular device for right now. We are looking into an app update where you can control it on whatever your car display may be but as of right now, it is only controllable through your phone.
2. Size does matter when it comes to which Throttle Body you purchase. The larger Throttle Bodies are intended to be paired with multiple heavy engine modifications so if you are pretty stock we recommend our SE8223 (91mm).
3. As stated in answer #2, if you don't have other heavy engine mods installed than too much airflow can cause issues. If you purchase a larger TB and we believe it is bigger than what you need we will give you a call.
4. You will receive the benefit of more airflow which equates to faster throttle response. You will experience a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle, making your driving experience more nimble and sprinted. You will experience crisper shifts and immediate response right off idling while keeping the idle function undisturbed. Some customers have gained about 5-10 horsepower with no modifications (0, stock) by only replacing the throttle body at WOT. Conversely, on a heavily modified car, we have seen improvements of about 35+ horsepower just by replacing the throttle body (WOT).
I installed one on my C7 and love it. However, more times than not, when I punch it and then let off the gas, the rpm’s stay at the highest level that I accelerated to. I have to slip it in neutral and wait for the engine to rev down before proceeding on. I sent Soler a message and am waiting for a response. Any idea why this would happen and has anyone else experienced this?
Mike@solerengineering.com suggested I look for a vacuum leak around the throttle body and duct. Sure enough, found a detached hose under the duct. Reattached and took it out today. Performed beautifully! Thanks Mike!

Yes, kind of annoying. Might be the car programing though as mentioned above.

If know for the C8 itself (without the Soler Controller installed) it has an adaptive feature that senses when you are driving aggressively (flooring it) and will start to hold rpms higher and for longer periods of time! If you return to normal driving it will return to normal operation as well...

Seems to take several seconds to rev down though. Not really complaining, just something to get used to.

Yep, the car wants to driven like it was stolen, lol.
One day leaving work in my C7 Z06 I unknowingly bumped the controller and set it to Valet. Pulled out onto the 50mph road leaving our parking lot and it flopped on its face. Scared the crap out of me as I pulled out in front of folks and I thought the motor had crapped itself. Glad nobody hit me before I figured it out.
Just bought one for my ‘24 Stingray, will install it today.
