Last month I bought a new LT2 intake manifold and had it ported. At the same time, I had Soler port my tb. I mated all this to a K&N intake system and I love it.
What size TB did you go with on your ported intake?
So interestingly on the C8 I just sent them a new factory LT2 tb and they ported it. NOW on my Camaro with a LT1 and Magnuson I just ordered a new LT5 ported to 95mm. I kind of wish I ordered a LT5 for the C8 as well BUT not sure if I would have the same experience. I am always pushing the envelope. I went this route and had them rework for $300 on the C8. I am selling my intake and doing something custom. When I get there I will likely buy a LT5 and check it out. I also have a nitrous plate so I might not need the adapter for the LT5 but thats a completely different conversation. I am not sure how far we can go on the C8 before needing a tune
The code posted earlier in this thread is a larger discount. It would be nice if you provided the same $20 discount to the C8 folks as you did for the Mustang folks.
There are a lot of different discount codes out there that have been made, the LL5%OFF is my personal code that I promote to users.

Sooooooooooo whatcha gonna do with current intake and TB? What companies intake did you go with?
As completely confused with this device..I do find it intriguing..can someone tell me the purpose for this device..is the C8 that slow for response to the accelerator pedal..Is this practical for street use or track use?
What are the benefits of this device?
As we speak , my new C8 Z51 2LT Is sitting in a garage waiting for spring ...with only 12 miles on it..its an all new experience as opposed to my 19' C7 GS.
Thank you very much in advance for your help.

It's all explained if you read through this thread. I didn't get it either until reading through, I'm now waiting for mine to arrive on Friday.

I AGREE! @trumanjd1 Did you just jump to the end of the thread and ask your questions? Didn't it occur to you that they might already be answered in earlier posts? No sympathy for someone who doesn't even read the posts in the thread he is posting to.

Here's a good explanation of the benefits of what you will gain with one of our controllers, if you want more information and details let me know and I can help provide you with that!
I can't even see the throttle body on my HTC or I would try and swap out the throttle body also?
The C7's were easy to access and swap, not so sure about the C8?
BTW, I love the controller on my C8!
Yeah, it looks reasonably straightforward on the coupe, but I'm not at all tempted to try to replace it on my HTC.
Cmon boys, you need the "Teddy mentality". Well hell if I am going to swap the tb to a ported one, I might as well port the intake manifold as well. While I'm at it **** might as well get an air intake as well. LOL The life of living in rabbit holes with my cars. HAHAHA
Just installed the controller. Have not gone for a drive yet, will do that tomorrow after I deal with cable management. Couple observations. It connected via Bluetooth the very first time. After it disconnected, the app would not reconnect. Bluetooth could see the device nearby (called Throttle-Master). I had to uninstall and reinstall the app. Seems OK this time around. I did confirm all permissions asked for the first time.
The one thing that is really annoying is this 6' cable I have to deal with tomorrow when I have more light to work with. I'm not leaving the display connected, this should have been designed so both ends of the cable could be unplugged.
I like you can disable the throttle but until I'm comfortable that Bluetooth will reliably reconnect, I won't use it.
I tucked the wire as mentioned earlier and tossed the display in the center console. All my nitrous controls and window switch are in center console, I need to get creative and run all the wiring. If I didnt care to see the display, I would of ziptied the majority of the wiring where I did and just tuck the USB-C cable in the carpet along the tunnel. Just don't put anything in the way of your foot or behind the pedal where it could limit you to how far you can push the pedal down. I mean thats common sense but......

What's the windows switch about? Also curious about your nitrous, any thread on that info?

Just coil the wire up and shove it behind the carpet, where the OEM wire harness comes through the slit in the carpet. The controller itself fits back there, too.

I should have done that while the pedal was off. I have it running up and tucked in behind the top of the carpet now. In any case, I maintain the 6' wire should be removable. It has a plug on one end, why not both?

I suggested that to Soler last year. They agreed that would make sense, but there's a cost involved to redesigning anything and having the OEM manufacturer make the change to the production process. Right now I think they prefer to keep the cost as low as possible. It's not really a major problem.
You guys are too sporty for me - I'm stuck at sport 2, sometimes 3.
I was wondering if anyone has had a failure with their Soler throttle controller. If so, what was the failure mode? I can visualize being stuck on the side of the road trying to remove the controller and plug the pedal back in directly - not a pretty picture.
Yes, I've had this issue several times. It is a PITA but it's possible to just unplug it and connect the harness back to stock. I'm close to removing it altogether...
While I haven't had it fail, I have had some challenges getting Bluetooth to connect. I sometimes have to close and reopen the app a few times, sometimes I have to wait a few minutes to retry. Meanwhile my phone is connected to my V1G2 and the car just fine.
As far as mode, I started out with sport 5, thought it was touchy, moved to 4, then after I got used to it, it felt sluggish again. I'm up to sport 8 now. Not that we care, but I don't think this device does any favors for gas mileage. I dropped from about 14mpg to 11mpg per tank of fuel after install
