Finally got around to installing it today because I’ve been nervous mostly because it seems all I have is bad luck lol took about two minutes to install. Click click boom started up no check engine. Thank God took it out for a ride. Holy moly. This is the way the car should have came. I eventually backed it down to sport, for that seems a little bit more manageable scared the heck out of me
Yeah, I installed mine yesterday. GREAT product. Should have bought this years ago. Also installed mine in minutes !!! I started out in Sport 5, but had to dial it back to Sport 2. This is how the car should have come from the factory. I really like how it's adjustable, as needed. WHY didn't I do this some time ago....... it took me installing my new Eventuri Carbon Fiber Intake and then trying it out to the max to realize what a big LAG the car had. NOT anymore !!!!!
I've had the Soler installed for about 3 month. love it..the only complaint I have is when stopped at a positive incline (up hill) there is a delay and jolt when hitting the gas. Not sure how this will affect the transmission as this continues.... I assume everyone else is experiencing this as well.

That has nothing to do with the Soler, it's the car's hill brake assist to prevent roll-back on an incline. The computer won't release the brakes until you're giving the car enough throttle to offset the incline. There will be no negative impact to the transmission as it adds only a negligible amount of clutch drag. Pretty much the same as the auto parking brake release function.
Sorry, that was probably me I hopped onto Soler's website to check out the controller last week, it said 1 left, and my credit card started twitching. Hopefully their replenishment time is short...

Love mine and have it on sport 6. I like the ability to disable the pedal which is a great feature. Kind of a built in theft deterrent device.
I installed mine and when I tried using the "LOCK" feature, I kept getting CEL and the car would go into limp mode. Not sure if I was doing something wrong... I removed it until I can get an answer.
I also noticed that the idle speed increased... is that expected?

Judging by the number of high acceleration events on my Verisk and Lexis/Nexis reports, I am thinking that my Soler throttle controller increases the rate of acceleration during normal driving conditions to the point that they are reports as "hard accelerations". I drive like an old man, but my reports look like a youngster hotrodding around all the time. Hopefully this does not result in increased insurance premiums!
Op Z, I saw your post about this and was thinking a throttle controller was probably involved. I hope your premiums don't go up.
what settings are you using on your controller?

Now that would be one hell of a plot twist to this whole mess....
