While part of me (a large part) would say let’s do it, the rest of me would be asking why?
I wouldn’t track it so how would I benefit except for bragging rights? Hard to justify 50k for that, personally.
I am thrilled with the performance of the SR on the street and don’t feel I could justify that much more. Sometimes I wish I could though.
But congrats to those that can, I’m sure it is a phenomenal Corvette.
Maybe when it is time for my next Corvette I can justify one.

Really the only thing I like better about a Z is the look (wider stance in the rear/wider rear tires).
There was someone picking theirs up at the museum the same time we picked up ours and honestly, I prefer the exhaust note of the SR.
'Bout muddy my shorts as it is in the SR. Can't imagine the car with almost 200 more HP. I would say it is way more car than most people can handle. Too much money for bragging rights IMO.

I would say do it. I say this in the most respectful way... You tend to trade them in every year or so. You've already had several so what would another stingray do to "move the needle" other than a different paint color. Get the Z06 to experience it, etc. When you're ready to move on to the next one you know you'll get more than you paid for it.
Then I would use the exta $$$$ to try to get an e-ray at MSRP. That would be the "keeper".
This is all IMHO, of course.
Best of luck,
Jason
