Respectfully, sir, we don't know if this picture was taken at the peak of the car's flight, or as it's landing. Really a stretch to determine that it needs more down-force as a result of a single picture. I'm sure they're working this out from an aerodynamics standpoint

I’ve caught air at Flugplatz. Pretty easy to do. Gotta stick the landing, though!

Default C8 vs C7 Sleek, sexy design quotient...

These two shots provide a stark contrast between C7 and C8 design. One is sleek and sexy, the other a chunk monster--I'll let you decide which is which to you...

GM is definitely getting the C8 Zora base model/ Z51 dialed in for release which is why they are testing it next to a C7 Stingray.

Won't be too much longer now.

I really don’t see it that way,
I own one(will never sell it), and love the C7 design,
But in all honesty ,to me the C7 looks like a “cafe racer”next to the C8.

The C7 is more Duran Duran ,where the C8 is more Metallica .

At this late stage of testing ,the C7 was running around in the beautiful sunny California ,
where the C8 is playing “dukes of hazard” in the green hell.

The C8 design looks more evolved, and more suited.

Even in pre-production camouflage the C8 has more presence and style than the C7. I can't wait to see the final version that they release. Hard pass on a C7 for a C8 in my book.

Looks good so far!

All that crap on the door is fake including the padding on the lower door portion.

It looks like the engine will be exposed through the rear glass. They have the whole thing tinted out except for a small port hole.

Though still chunky looking the rear end is growing on me. The wing however, if it is not active aero will have to be a delete option for me. It makes the rear look to tall for me and to slab sided. I won't be able to afford the Z06/ZORA version so Z51 it will have to be as this will be my last new toy car. And I hope orange Sebring will be available.

The photo of the C8 has a fence on the drivers side. The photo of the C6 is clear. Is the C6 airborn at a different location?

I asked about the other car but specifically on that spot on the track.

The two photos are being taken from different sides of the ring, I'm not sure that it is the same spot or not. Just a thought.

Call me old fashioned, but I judge cars by what they do, not how they look.

To me, the C8 looks a little shorter than the C7 and if true, that’s good.

Downward Visibility over the nose nose looks better, that’s good too.

OTOH I thought it was impossible to make a ‘vette with worse side & rear visibility than the C7 but I’m afraid the C8 will do it.

And I don’t see how we will be able to fit enough luggage for our 2 month road trips.

So the C7 may be our last Corvette. Hope I’m wrong.
