Mine had a slight miss at idle too until a couple of hundred miles or so. Drive it some more and see if it goes away. Also a burning smell after driving until a few hundred miles as well. I just hit 500 today.

I noticed that the other day with about 100 miles on it. Just a bit of vibration right after cold start I hadn't noticed before. I don't think I noticed it after it warmed up. I'll pay more attention to it.

The poll says about 20% but, problem polls attract those with the problem to air their concerns skewing the results. I doubt that the true number exceeds 10% and of those are the ones listening with stethoscopes.

Default Seat belts

Does anyone else have a problem that whenever you release your seat belt it goes behind the seat and does not stay in the seat belt holder

Can't see how that would happen - the seat belt holder would have to be unsnapped. Unless you have the GT1 seat and it comes out of the slot. There's a fix for that: https://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item...guards-clips-/

Default Driver's Seat Heater

My VIN is a 2020 in the 16K's, took delivery in early December. My driver's seat heater did not work early on. The lights on the button would turn on for about 8 seconds and then turn off. They would not turn back on until a new ignition cycle. Brought it in and they are ordering a new driver's seat heater unit. I have no idea if this is something that will be in within a week or are we talking months? No big deal to me, but just curious if this is something that is at a parts warehouse anywhere.

Wanted to share...

I have an early VIN (343) and have about 3900 miles on the car. I took delivery in late March, so its been almost a year. Not driven hard or raced or tracked. It sits on the charger, in the garage. Drove it yesterday morning and was fine. On the return trip in the afternoon, got a CEL. Drove directly to the dealer who scanned it and said there was an exhaust fault. Plus there were 3 other programming recalls to be done.

Anyway, car seemed fine....i will keep y'all advised. The Forum community is always a good source for info. Thanks

Hardly. I don't need a stethoscope to hear it over the radio at steady state 45 mph.

Hey there Imroviz... Amen to your comment! Mine's getting louder week by week... Still waiting to be able to drive another so I can say with LOUD VOICE - Fix this - it is NOT normal! I was wondering if you're still in the battle...

Over on the C8 World F'Book group this guy responded to my whine question like this:

it requires a new transmission. No tech at a dealer can open that puppy up and fix it.
Most likely, you will first have to open a case with GM, the engineers come out, they do a PICO test to monitor noise levels, the engineer will ride in the car with you, etc etc.
Finally, if you don't let up, they will give you a new trans.

I have not had that problem, but I purchased imho a better one (more attractive) from a vendor I saw on the C8 FB page a while back.

From my Guy on Facebook:

"Right now, you just need to keep taking the car into the dealer (or multiple dealers) until you get enough service visits to warrant a "notice of final repair attempt" which you will certify mail into GM if they have still not resolved the problem after 3 or 4 documented repair attempts."

The ocassional miss may be fuel related due to reduced driving in general around the country. Gas may be sitting in the station tanks at a lower level, ....longer than it used to without a turnover.

I started it and let it run for 15 minutes and still nothing. When I push the cabin button I hear a clicking noise coming from behind the glove box. There's also a red message about the frunk being open. I tried pushing down on it but nothing as it is closed all the way.

Any ideas? I don't want this thing flying open on the way to the dealership for them to take a look.
Took it to the dealership & they said the frunk not opening is because of a bad opening selinoid. They overnighter the part & it's getting installed tomorrow. Fingers crossed it works.

No - Sorry I didn't pull that percentage out of my Donkey. The polls on the two main C8 Forums are the source of that number... Since you you're Col 3:23 I'll quote you this: "Seek and you shall find" - Google "C8 Whine Forum" and you should find the polls.

I assure you if you had the noise in the car that's an all new design with a DCT you'd try and find out if was normal or needed fixing - And before any of you torch anyone about asking others about issues, keep in mind there's no way to go to your Dealer and jump in another too see what sounds or issues are normal. Not about being bored, I drive mine every day here in snowy Wisconsin - Just don't enjoy hearing a faulty diff that my Chevy Dealer says is fine.
