Hellcats have great engines that are super easy to modify. Now imagine if they would put that engine in a lighter chassis..
I forgot to mention that. Yes, the car is on 93 octane, which is the reason for the rather conservative tune.
Interesting how the tables have turned. In years past with the C6/C7 vs. an ME DCT car, it was always about roll racing because the FE RWD Vette would just roast the tires off the line...Then it was, 'wait til it has good tires or DR's.' Etc...
Now that the C8 is ME with DCT, it's interesting seeing people's comments change and how they are beginning to appreciate, understand and experience why GM went this route...I.E. - the advantages of a ME, DCT. It's not to say that the FE RWD (M7) cars aren't fun...they are a blast. BUT, it takes a lot more skill to drive them hard and drive them well. So for the average person, the ME DCT is the better overall experience. Cheers!
