Streetspeed717 ordered another C8

1st C8 he put a deposit with the dealership VERY early and paid that extra $5,000 as mentioned above.
2nd C8 that is the current giveaway-was ordered by another person, but they backed out. He bought it and they made it their next giveaway.
3rd C8 that he just ordered-I actually think he would have gotten another 2020 instead of a 21 if circumstances had been different. I remember him in an older video actually saying he had deposits on 2. The deposit for the 2nd one, was obviously changed to a 21 due to the strike and COVID.
Don't like his videos, don't watch. Nobody forces you to watch his videos, click on this thread, or read what I just posted.
As you said, I like to be entertained and this guy does nothing but buy **** and point at it.
The plan is to start out with a gofund me page and have the CF b@llers donate to buy me a C8. A Simple $10K from Skid row Joe, Foosh, Punky, Jerry U etc.
Then I will make many Videos of me dismantling it completely apart to the last bolt, then building it back with only high school auto behind me. Will the skills of working on a 78' LeCar be enough to build back the first mid-engine corvette? If and when I fail I will attempt to send back to the dealership to fix under the Magunson act since everything will be stock........... just maybe a little misplaced

Once I make it big THEN maybe Garrett will spot light me on Corvette Today. .. I can see it now.... sort of...

And also you wanna know why he's getting all these C8's easily? Easy answer. Because he makes youtube videos.
Who do you think GM will favor? A dude with over a million subs that makes entertaining videos that people WILL watch?
Or an unknown dude on CF that no one will hear about?
GM wants their C8 out there, in the hands of all the notable people. SS717 is one of them.
So who knows if mike really does know someone at GM. This is similar when he got his ZR1. He was talking about the ZR1, even BEFORE they announced the official debut back in 2017. If you watch his 2016 videos, he was already talking about how he knew someone who was going to hook him up with the ZR1. At that point, i didn't even know the ZR1 was going to be a 2019 model. I thought it'd be a 2020 model. But somehow mike has all the inside info.
He has a youtube channel that was blowing up quick. Similar to tallguyreviews. And that's how they're able to get these cars a lot faster than most.
You could say he "paid for a custom vin", or waited like the rest of us. But when i read threads of people waiting 1 year for a C8 lol, then no, streetspeed has someone in the inside helping him get his cars faster so he can make videos on them.
It only makes sense like that.

I don't know why people refuse to believe this and would rather believe some lie that he got it sooner because he's on YouTube...
Sure, some of the stuff is stupid. Some of the videos are stupid. So what. It's the internet. That's the beauty of it--anybody with a camera can make Youtube videos. This thread probably gained him a few views too.

Remember z06juan? He's a member here. He tried doing videos for about a year featuring his 2016 z06. Even procharged it for 900 or 1000hp which should get lots of views right? I mean a modern day (well back then) corvette with 1000hp, it'll get views right?
Well his channel was a failure, at least when you see what he was trying to accomplish. His content was decent, i enjoyed it. But he just didn't have "THAT" type of content people will click his thumbnails for.
With someone like mike, you knew he would be good at what he does. I been following him for a while now. Back when he first got his C7Z.
His personality, what he's doing in his videos, who he's featuring, the amount of videos he puts out a week, the cars, the content of course.
And now that his channel is doing very well, there is no doubt automakers see he's successful and piggyback off of it.
That's how he's able to get these C8's early. That's how he got his C7 ZR1 early. All because of what he does for a living.
Crazy...

I know I have no problem with someone that is quite successful on YT. The posts that out right seem like they hate someone for being successful are pretty pathetic.
Also for the record, just because I don't care for certain channels out there it certainly doesn't mean I "hate" them. Steetspeeds channel just doesn't float my boat and sometimes I feel like his connection to cars is not very genuine, but hey I don't know the guy personally.
