Not really taken with any of the C8 colors... my c7 was NRB, and I loved it... my wife and I both agreed that Red Mist was the best, but after seeing on the car, decided it was "too pretty"... like zoomba pants on. a Navy Seal... this car is so aggressive, IMHO, you need a more subdued color to really show off the lines, and make it less busy....
I was going to punt, and just get safe, old silver, but my wife prevailed upon me to go with HGM... and its growing on me...I like to focus my hard-earned money on performance options so I sprang for the Z51/Mag shocks, and grey wheels... 1LT with AD Red, Edge Red calipers, and body-colored accents... pretty basic build... has a certain "stealth" element to it.
I've never heard/read it better! This captures how I feel about Red Mist to a "T." I'd twist it slightly to "Lululemon."

I originally was going to order my C8 in white. Then after seeing Elkhart Lake Blue in person I switched to that. Then I saw a HSG at the NCM and knew without question I was ordering one of those. Seeing the HSG in person sort of reminded me of the F-22 Raptor. Looking forward to placing my order when my slot comes up next month.
Your pics make it look so GREEN! I've seen it in person and it does have some green tint in it but much less than how it appears here.

I've seen both reds, black and yellow. I personally like black and edge red equally well, I'd have been happy with either. Both are in keeping with HGM's understated tones. So if you order your with either I bet you'll be happy. I liked bright red and yellow a whole lot less as their intensities are much greater than HGM.

FYI...Hypersonic Gray Metallic, Spectra Gray Tridents and Bright Red calipers.

A few more that I took while still in the showroom:
Picked it up from the CD dealer yesterday and didn’t get a chance to get pics in the sunlight. Here’s some pics from my late night garage visit. I haven’t seen green in it just yet. There is a fluorescent light over the hood and a yellow light over the middle in my garage.
