You must have a lighter foot than I do! 800 miles, 19.7. Lovin' every minute.
Yeah, well I'm up to 700 mi now, the weather here has been the pits!, one day sun, the next it's snowing or raining with no breaks, repeat. The most I put on it in one day was driving it back home from PDX when I tacked up 270 miles going the distance East along the Columbia River to avoid going over the Cascade passes. Started with 16 mi on the odometer and ended with 286, and averaged 29.5 mpg! I'm trying to get 1500 on it before I take a trip to AZ in the middle of May. The restrictions on oil monitoring after every fuel stop until then are necessary but a pain. So far I haven't noticed any consumption at all, knock on wood.

All good new, GEN. Let me know if you come through Boulder on the way! Your C8 and your Vette look pretty similar!
I've been a Hypersonic Gray fan ever since I saw it at Carlisle last August, however still a bit surprised if finished up in third place for 2022 C8 colors only behind Torch Red and Artic White.

I saw a stat that showed HGM in 4th behind RMM as well.

If these #’s are proved to be reliable, HGM slightly edged out RMM. Considering it was a 1st year offering and no carryover from 2021 orders like RMM must have had going into MY22, it’s pretty impressive.

Yep, #3 is VERY Impressive, especially since red and white are most always going to be 1 and 2 sportscar colors.

I am surprised that SF was so unpopular as well as HGM being the opposite. I love HGM as well but went with RM and spent $2K more for the paint and Body color accents. It’s what corvette enthusiasts do
In general Gray is the 3rd most popular car color in the US after Black and White...
Indeed but I think corvette color threads refer to corvette numbers only as there are typically more color choices for a corvette than many other cars. Maybe black, white , silver, dark grey, blue and burgundy.

Yes, I understand...Just pointing out that gray is very common in general and appears to fall in same place with C8s...
Also not surprising that reds are at top of the list with Vettes in general...
Finally finished my HSG the way I like it. I wrapped the A-pillars and top with 3M metallic gloss black. It's a dead ringer to the GM carbon flash black.
Then I had PPF installed on the front half of the car and then ceramic coated the entire car, that includes the 3M wrap, PPF and Jake decal. Added the wingless carbon flash painted carbon fiber skirts.
Lastly, tinted the side windows, windshield and partition window with ceramic. Dropped it an inch and added the 20mm spacers.
Last thing I have to do now is Cerakote the exhaust tips.
