But seriously, I can see at slight hint of green under overcast sky or at dust, however probably 15-20 friends and family have seen my C8 and I've made it a point to ask what color it is to many of them, they've looked at like I'm crazy, then after I mention green, they see it.

This color clearly shows the differences in people's ability to distinguish hues. I see a ton of green in it. Many do not. To me though, it is a very attractive color. Maybe it is the name that is misleading.
I'm slightly colorblind and can't really see the green but if it's there, that should hopefully work with my preferred wheel color of indigo (not this exact wheel but similar color and matte finish). Indigo apparently has a tinge of green (which I also can't see) and plays well off yellow calipers.
@switchlanez It should work fine. Blues, greens, and yellows play well together. Post it up when ready!

I think it's less the paint itself, and more the temperature of the light around it or whatever else is reflecting off the car. When you put the car under pure white artificial light in a light-colored room, it's grey with no real hint of green. I'd compare it to the grey BMW used to have on the E9X series about a decade ago. When under sunlight, however, and especially with a blue sky or near green trees/grass, the paint seems to diffuse the light and reflect back with a green hue.
Also different people DEFINITELY perceive it differently. My pictures have an obvious green hue when viewed on an accurate display, like my iPad Pro, while lots of people I show them to tell me they can't see it on their phone.

Yep, I agree the green hue is more evident in photos than in person. My above photos shows a little green hue (the most I've noticed), but it's nearing dust, with a green background, in bright sunlight it's definitely gray as it appears in the garage.

I actually thought it was more evident in person than in the pictures I took, so I guess that proves how much of a chameleon it can be.
I think my spec is going to be this color w/red calipers, red seatbelts, and the black 20 spokes. I wish you could get red stitching by itself on the 2LT. I think that would give it just the right amount of red.
Or I’ll just say YOLO and get yellow because LAMBO COLORS BABY

@Kevin A Jones I don't need an eye examination, I need cataract surgery! I'll check in after I have it and see if my color appreciation changes!
In all seriousness, my experience is like yours - it's hard to name what this color is. I just was tweaking (for fun) those HGM owners who get really torqued up over suggestions that it's green...

@Motorsports LA Stunning wheels and car. The window tinting does look darker than original and fits the gray&black theme really well. Any idea which shade level windows & windshield have?

Years ago, I bought my wife a Nissan Maxima and the color was Mystic Jade. The only color I ever saw was gray. My wife and I would ask folks what color the car was and it was about a 50/50 split between green and gray. So maybe they stole something from Nissan.......LOL.
