Default So 2022 it is....

I got the call from my rep this afternoon. I will have to wait until late summer/early fall for delivery of my HTC. Fortunately, I'm #4 out of the dealership. I just knew I'd be rolling in July, but the stoppages caught me up.

Sorry to hear it but it’s only a couple more months AND you’ll have the latest model year! The wait’ll quickly fade from memory when you’re cruisin’ in your new C8.

I'd kill to be putting my order in by August ish, don't worry mate you'll be cruisin soon enough and the delay will be a distant spec in the rear view camera.

I just hope they dont raise the price again. They raised the cost $1000 and eliminated Military Appreciation Pricing both while I have sat on a wait list.

But different people so any negative impact is minimal; if it were the same folks two years in a row, then that would be an issue!

A price increase is inevitable, when dealers are getting 10s of thousands of dollars over MSRP, even for used Vettes.

There have never been any GM discounts on the C8. Every order entered into the system displays MSRP, dealer cost and can show discount (supplier or employee) prices even if they are not available. I think your dealer incorrectly told you you would get the Military Appreciation (supplier) price. If they did give you that, it would be on their (the dealers) dime. GM would not reduce the price to the dealer in any way.

Hopefully you will in fact have your C8 by early fall. Still gives you some time to enjoy the car beore winter sets in, if that is a concern for where you live.

It's definitely a concern with me living in Chicago. One good thing that could come of it is if it's available in time fo me to pick up and drive to VA for homecoming. That would be a great way to break it in.

Guess I am lucky to be living in Florida so my " whatever year" HTC can be driven no matter the time of year I actually get it, with the top down LOL. The latest from Mike Furman I received, this was a email blast not a personal email, didn't say a 2021 was not possible but sure made it sound like since June allocations were cancelled it would be a 2022. Oh well, just lucky to live in a Country where waiting for a 80+K sportscar is OK and life goes on. Be safe-Semper Fi

I actually enjoy the winter top down months more here in Florida, if no more shutdowns looking at possible September delivery from MacMulkin. 2021 Z51 Cpe, 2LT fortunate to get a May allocation and in the 3000 club. LOL
Enjoy the ride.
Thanks for your service have two Marines in the family.
