From this forum I have learned to be skeptical of what a dealer tells you. The best thing to do is to ask them how many allocations they got last year. Also google top Corvette dealer sales for the past couple of years to see if it matches up with what they tell you and I recommend having a backup plan with the other top two dealers.

I'm with you. When I hear strange things reported I try to remember to ask Dave. He's a straight shooter and is my best resource.

I checked them out before placing my deposit. Everyone told me the same thing about Matick Chevy. They received their orders exactly as told at MSRP with no gimmicks. I was told the exact number of people ahead of me on the list and given a timeline of the number of allocations they were receiving.

You guys may have not noticed my line with my spreadsheet post last night.

I was down to AC yesterday and got a the chance to chat with Dave. He said they on a track for over 1,500 C8s this year, and that's with the May shut down. Their biggest year ever. He's very positive for the next two years to be around 2,000 car per Calendar year.. Good news. The bad news if you're a base buyer is the 35% of the allocations will be Z06s. That's about 700 Z06s a calendar year. The good news for base buyers is the Z06s won't cut into the ordered cycle until March at the earliest. He also said he way under judged the Z06 demand, he thought 200 in-person and 500 online. He based that, in two years Criswell had only had 700 and MM had 1,200. They were floored watching the 6,000 applications flow.

After all the bitching and complaining about the Z06 process, everything Dave said is 100% reasonable. In any business, you compare your expectations to what your competitors are experiencing and with those guys having orders open for 2 years it totally makes sense! Thanks for the nugget!

Well after having a TPW of 12/13 learned today my car was one of the ones on the lines that were scrapped. So we try again next week.
