I had a TPW of 12/13 so no build this week. I have a Vin of 10535 so may get built on Christmas eve or Jan 3rd. Come on Santa, be good to me. I was a good boy this year.

That's really bad luck. To rebuild your car, they will have to put you back to 3000 and pick a new TPW so the venders can get the parts ready to build your car. Tough luck.

I thought about that too and wondered if it worked that way. So they wouldn't be putting those cars at the front of queue? Yea, I would say it's gone from "tough luck" to NO LUCK!

12/13 here too, my build parts are probably sitting there ready to go! I don't think is will be next week, but I'm open for a surprise.

Same here, TPW 12/13. Should have been built on 12/14. I don't think it will be next week either, but hoping for the best. Sounds like they'll build the 115 "damaged beyond repair" vehicles first, that were inside BGA. Still needs to be determined the status of all outside vehicles. Have waited a long time already through a lot of delays and surprises...to the point of expecting the worst and being pleasantly surprised when forward movement continues.

No, they will build 12/13 cars first and maybe 12/20 cars because everything is ordered and likely sitting there ready for assembly. The damage replacements have to go through the whole order process before they can be built. I think yours will be built next week if everything goes as planned.

Thanks, hope you're correct. I've tried to put it out of my memory how long and painfully slow the whole order process and progression was, but you're right, that will definitely slow down how quickly those 115 cars can be put back in line again. I feel bad for them and hopefully their dealerships can expedite the reordering process for them. They've been thrown a bad deal and deserve to have their cars built as quickly as they can be. If the past couple of years has shown us anything, it is that there will be more surprises ahead.

Ciocca 40? Do you mean for the Z06 you are 40? The base C8s at Ciocca are over 4100.

That's a good question. I don't remember how long a car is on the line, but most started on Thursday will be finished on Jan 3rd. I'm sure Plant management know what they are doing.

I just read they start back tomorrow (mon) with partial staff then full staff starting Tuesday.

as far as the impact of those damage replacements, at the top level that’s less than a single day on production numbers. So I wouldn’t expect a major impact from that. Overall I am assuming I will see only approx a week and a half delay to my car because of all this.

Mods, can we have a ban on citations to GM Authority? Only partially kidding. GMA is the most consistent source of old and/or inaccurate information on this Forum.
