I’m hoping that GM will bother to actually do a QC check on my car while it’s in this long *** post production hold. Probably too much to ask though…

Default No production data update for 11-16

The last 3 in column 3800 are supposition since no data from yesterday, as of 11:30 this morning.

I'm guessing that you would like this data added to the spreadsheet, and so it is. Keep us posted on the next 2 steps, please.

According to the VIN you've given, the production date is 11-12.

6285 - 6000 Status - Customer delivered today. HSG is such a great color in the sun. This car is stunning! The customer was so happy and I loved seeing his reaction when he finally got the car. Great memories.

Way back on 9-22, you got picked up to 3000. Along the way you got assigned a TPW of 11-22. When you posted that date it seemed SOOOOO far in the future. The only one of the September allocations that late and never changed. Time marched on and we've had 2 weeks of 1 shift operations. Now, here we are. Still a TPW of 11-22. Actual build date (if all stays on track) 11-22! WOWIE!
jkwonza...I commend you on your patience. Others have come, whined and gone during your wait and you've never complained. Yahoo to you and may Monday 11-22 be a special day for you.

11-22 is special for me too. the last of "my flock" will be built. The waning days of my daily drudge through thread after thread trying to glean data is nearly complete. In the meantime, I've taken delivery of my dream car, I've been able to clock some time between snowflakes and getting ready for storing it and fleeing this area to Arizona til spring. Yeah, baby! tick-tock

Appreciate your work RandelB in keeping your "flock" together over the past few months. I'm a September allocation straggler #7295 who just got 3800 status yesterday. Can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your daily updates and being my #1 source for information along they way!

Default Why?

Some may have asked "why would anyone go through all this work"? It began for me like many members with wondering how long it takes to get from one event code to another. Not too many answers out there, and I now realize that the narrative changes all the time. But my driving force was to provide a resource to answer a few questions about timing. They have been buried deep in the spreadsheet and many may not have looked. So, we now have a fairly good population of data points. For the remaining weeks as these cars find there owners, I'll focus a little more on the bottom-line driving questions of timing. I will cut-out the averages for the event code to event code summary of the data that has been provided. Hopefully it will become a source of information for future members, but times change, processes change and protocols change. So, this represents the fall of 2021 and how things evolved.

Talked to my dealer this morning and my build is still stuck at BGA. He told me he had five other cars waiting to be shipped. I wonder if they are at 4D00 like mine. It looks like I'm going to stretch the 3800-5000 average out a little more. Hopefully not too much longer, I am anxious after hearing how everyone likes their cars.

I know what you mean, seeing all of these cars built after ours that are being delivered before we get ours...

Well I've got you beat. I've been on quality hold since 11/2 - 16 days and counting. And yes, it sucks for us to see those being built after us and the slowdown already being delivered.
