Obviously I won’t be getting allocation this month. Big surprise there. Maybe month 14… definitely time to send a deposit to one of the big dealerships, I’ll probably get it faster that way.

Not a single Ciocca person on the list yet. Wonder if that's because of the low allocation and not many people on the forum got allocations, or if they are just gravitating towards the Ciocca-specific thread.

I cant wait for someone to post a tpw waiting until others post before i look maybe up lol.

And MSRP was like $80,300 dont have it in front of me on my phone, and matick chevy is dealership.

  • Spreadsheet will be a google sheets file, which means everyone can go in and enter/edit their own row as appropriate.
  • This will give everyone the best real-time data, since it saves as you go. That was you don't have to wait for me to upload a picture or file to the thread or anything.
  • I included fields for a lot of info, some of which people may not want to share. Totally fine if you don't want to put MSRP, etc. It's just some info that makes for some more interesting summary tables.
  • Instructions are on the first tab of the file, but definitely let me know if you have any questions.
  • If you are not comfortable doing it yourself, just send me a PM with your info. I have no problem doing the work for anyone who's not tech savvy or are otherwise unable to do it.
  • If you're with a dealer that is not listed, just let me know, and I can add it to the list for selecting.
File location: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1S2EF7vRYCmVXu1pUu1iXK5qiZRBmAuRBgQvY2m-Frqs/edit
Note: Some companies (mine included) block filesharing sites like this. I can edit it from my phone and my home computer, but not my work one. So keep that in mind if you get an error that says it was blocked.

FYI, this will probably be iterative at first as people use it and we find bugs/issues, but hopefully those are resolved quickly and easily. Thanks in advance to early adopters who will, perhaps unwillingly, help me troubleshoot

One question: When do people actually become a part of an allocation? When they go 2000? Like how does someone know what allocation they are part of?

Thanks!

There are two of of doing this, I'm running a 2022 allocation/order tracking spread sheet which includes Oct' orders?

I thought you were only doing Ciocca. Someone else was doing a full September allocation list and was looking for volunteers to do one for October. Is yours for all dealers? If you already have it covered, then we don’t need this thread.

Yes. We need this thread as you have captured 12 of the 125 or so MM allocations (10%) pretty impressive. The other list is dominated by Ciocca listings and for whatever reason a number of MM’s recent allocations have not been updated. Probably not Faste60’s fault just that those following the September allocation sheet decided to use the October sheet when it went active.

Gotcha. Sorry for the confusion.

The one I did is in google sheets, so people can enter their own info without a single person having to do all the work, and it has some cool summaries and stuff. Any interest in consolidating your stuff into that format, or do you just want to keep it how you have it?

If your preference is to keep your file local to you and in your format, feel free to grab any data that’s on mine and not yours, and I can pull the plug on mine.

Got it. But FYI, you can easily set the permissions on the google sheet such that only you can make changes, and others can only view the data and summaries. So if you want to convert to my format and be the only one able to make changes, just say the word and I’ll pass the file over to you.

However, based on your reaction, I assume you still want to do it on your file, out of familiarity, so can you let me know once you pull the data off mine and I’ll get rid of it? 9

OP, I would keep yours as well. I'm not a fan of his, have allocations from several months. I like each month having their own thread on here. Just my 2 cents

Added my data to this google spreadsheet. Seems I got pretty lucky as I only started to get on dealers lists in mid August 2021. Co-worker told me to call a dealer near where he grew up that is relatively local to me but in my same state. Called them on 9/22/21 and was told they sell about 5 per year and would call me if they got an allocation. Got text on 10/7/21 they had an allocation and if I wanted it it was mine!!!!!

9/22/21: First call to dealer
10/7: Allocation given to dealer
10/15: 1100 status and deposit placed
10/19: 2000 status

I like the idea of a specific "October" tracking thread, if you pull the plug on this one, I will likely not participate, as the other thread is too large and cumbersome IMHO!

Just my $.02 cents,

My 2 cents plus 2 cents is that the Pcolasanto’s easy to use and easy to update file is preferred by a number of participants.
The month is already half over and to pull it now would be premature. I see nothing wrong with Fast60 copying the input onto his master since permission has already been given. This is a very large and very active forum that should have room for both files.

I do quite a bit of daily "farming" of information from the threads for the TPW analysis. The threads that are specific to a month, ie. September, October, etc. are much easier for me to pull accurate information. I agree there is room for more than one SS and Faste60 has done a great job compiling data, but for my needs I prefer the individual month threads. There also is more camaraderie from folks that have allocations within each month imo and believe more information is shared. I am hopeful someone will take the torch for November and be ready to carry this effort forward.

Hi everyone. Wow, what a community that I'm excited to be a part of! I've been "lurking" on this forum and its various threads for a while, but finally directly relevant as I have an order in place.

Luckily I had a relationship with a local dealer. Dealer contacted me on October 11th saying that they had received an allocation on October 7th and informed me to send in my build no later than October 14th. Placed order on October 14th and received the six-alphabetical order number same day. With the advise of others, I went on Chevy chat earlier today and was told that my status had gone to 2000 as of October 15, 2021. Now the exciting waiting game to 3000 and beyond!

Details:
  • Dealer contact re: allocation - 10/11/21
  • Order placed - 10/14/21
  • Order No. issued - 10/14/21
  • Status Code 2000 - 10/15/21
Specs:
HTC
Ceramic Matric Gray
Z51

If I was at about 100 (June deposit) on the Hendrick Duluth list, any chance of a allocation this or next month? Sorry if this isn't the place to ask.

All allocations for October had to be entered today. So if your order was paired with a October allocation you would have been notified by now. At least that is my understanding. One thing that I have learned from the C8 order game is that there are always exceptions.
