I think TPW is coming much quicker when you look at only MY 22 builds.

i see TPWs as early as 11/1 and as late as 12/13 for October allocations. Given that 12/13 is the last production week of the year, and they are building October allocations still, I’d say there is a good chance that a portion of October allocations get bumped to January builds. So it might be a coin flip as far as if yours will be one or not. Sorry.

I received an email from the dealer dated 10/29 Friday stating order was placed today. I called Chevrolet 11/1 and was told my order was at 2000. I assume that means i am an October allocation.
Sorry i could search many pages but what happens next? I am excited and hoping this as Chevrolet says i am getting a car.

My guess and only my guess is that when the October TPW's were given( I went 3000 on 10/20 and had a TPW of 11/29 two days later) that "HOPEFULLY" GM knew of the 2 week 1 shift production schedule and the provided TPW's that were given might be accurate vs. getting pushed back 1-2 weeks due to the 1 shift production. This would be ideal as that would guarantee my car before the Christmas break. If not, I am hoping my 2 week window after the 11/29 week that mine will still get built and have it before Christmas. Fingers crossed.

I hope we start to see some October allocations moving to 3300-3400 in the next week.

@cecilt Since receiving your TPW of 11/29 (2 days after going 3000 on 10/20), have you checked in with CC or NCM as to any changes to your TPW? I only ask for my own tracking purposes. I received 3000 status on 10/20, and the same day, Shane at NCM advised of a "current TPW of 11/15." On October 30th, Shane provided a new "current TPW of 11/29." I'm wondering if you advised of any change to your TPW...

As of last Friday 10/29 I was still at 3000 and 11/29. I hopeful my TPW does not move and that BGA did take the shutdown into account but I doubt they did.

Note what it says for event 3000; A TPW May or May Not be available at this status! Hence why my previous comments that TPW's at 3000 are not stable and are tentative at best!

I have attached this as a .pdf if anyone wants this for reference.

I just received confirmation from the NCM that my TPW is now 12/20. I went 3000 yesterday. I asked him about the 12/18 shutdown date and he told me that the current plan was to be down 12/24 through 1/2. This should hopefully allow several more October allocations to be built in December.

@John58 apparently has received confirmation from the union that they are indeed going back to 2 shifts starting Monday, November 8th. His intel to date has been spot on, so that should be considered great news for us October 2021 allocations!

I'm only tracking MY 2022 orders. Take a look your self Column L I just did in my head calculation so I may be off a day, but it gives the picture. That why the more guys who give me their data the better a picture we have of what's is really happening. Nothing like a 100 points of data.

Would be helpful for others to post what your original TPW was since you said "my TPW is now 12/20"? tks

Good point. It was poor wording choice on my part, actually. What I meant was “as of now” it is 12/20. This is my first TPW. I went 3000 yesterday.

This is interesting. @John58 are you still under the impression that there is no production in the 12/20 week?

Would be great if they worked that last week up until 12/24. Hopefully John58 can confirm but that might get most October allocations built before they shut down.

Honestly as much as I want my C8 I wouldn't want the BGA staff to have to work the week of Christmas. They work hard enough as it is and they historically always got the 2 week shutdown around the holidays..

If they run the plant it should be voluntary basis, maybe for overtime or something, and only run one shift if they can't get enough volunteers to run two.

Also just pragmatically you don't really want your car built by a disgruntled line worker forced to work during a week that is usually a holiday week for the plant.

Though I am still at 3000 status, my TPW was confirmed as 11/29 as of today (I went 3000 on Oct 20th-22nd couldn't nail down precise date).

My willpower broke and I emailed Shane at the museum for the info. Sent 3 large pizzas their way from a local place in Bowling Green as a thank you for all their hard work.

I was at 3000 around the 20th of October as well. Shane had told me around the 23rd I had a TWP of 11/29. Emailed him today, said I was bumped to 12/6.
Hopefully a Christmas week delivery at the Museum.

Went to status 3100 today. Inching ever so slowly forward. Not sure what the difference is between 3000 and 3100, but I see it as a good sign. Still would like to get an estimated TPW.
