I got some good news today my car was released from wheel jail. I see it's sitting in the race track parking lot. Museum Delevery date is 12/13. Thanks to everyone that keep this thread visable to GM.

thank you! Safe travels the rest of your way! How did you go? Up through Ohio and across? That was my original plan, but coincidentally Pitt (my alma mater) is playing in the ACC Championship game tomorrow night, so I’m going straight to Charlotte from here for that, then just up from there on Sunday.

Good luck tomorrow and enjoy your special day. After all you’ve been through thus far you deserve it…

Quickest way for us was through Lexington, KY, Charleston, WV, then Cumberland & Baltimore, MD then up I95. Car performed like a champ.
December 3, checked my on star and noted that on star showed my corvette was heading south to Florida. Could not believe my eyes. Contacted Shane at NCM who confirmed corvette had shipped. Doing a CD . Contacted my local Chevy dealer and advised him of the forth coming delivery. Vin # 6042. Built 11/5, 28 days in purgatory. No communication from GM, sales dealership, nothing, just shipped. Time to enjoy. Thanks everyone for sharing information which helped a lot.

That's great news! Hopefully others will be on their way soon. I'm truly excited to see our cars ship for those of us that have been on QC hold for so long.
For me, mine is still at the plant, built 11/2, VIN 5772. I checked the Jack Cooper tracking site (https://www.palsapp.com/) and they still don't have my car yet. Spoke to my salesman (MacMulkin) yesterday and they have been communicating with their rep on a daily basis to not only get mine released, but a batch of their cars that were built during the same time frame as mine. Still no luck. Mine will be stuck at the plant 5 weeks come Tuesday. And what makes it even worse is my car will be shipped to MM where it will then be put on a truck and shipped to me in California via Intercity. But that's not the worst part. Intercity only has one more planned truck heading to the west coast this year due to the holidays and my car has to be at MM by Tuesday in order for it to make the truck. So bottom line, I most likely won't receive the car until the middle of January - 2 1/2 months since it was built and paid for, with the warranty ticking away. To say I am pissed is an understatement.

But I'm still happy for the rest of you!!!
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that sucks but does it have to be intercity at this point??? Can't u call around to see if another transport company can get it to u faster ? I would assume u don't have any obligations to use intercity
Sort like training a Weimaraner dog to hunt. The dog can help with many different animals hunted but not as good as dogs for a specific prey.
I loved Dinah, our Weimaraner. I miss her so much I ordered my C8 in Weimaraner Gray Metallic. Photo not of Dinah, obviously different equipment package.

I would imagine all carriers will be taking some sort of break around the holidays. Since I don't even know yet when MM will get it, I really can't start doing anything at this point. But MM and I will be having that conversation when the time comes. There is still a slight possibility Intercity might do one more run this year, but it isn't scheduled at this point in time. If it comes to it, I might be able to grease their wheels a little so to speak to make it happen.

Open a case with Chevy to extend your BTB warranty a minimum of 2 months since standard build to delivery time is around 2 weeks or less. I'd hound them relentlessly for that as a minimum acceptable courtesy.
Normally I call a lot of complaints entitled, but losin 2 months of a 3 year warranty is no small amount, equating to 1/18th of your BTB warranty or approximately 5.5% of its value. There's a dollar amount there somewhere. Make them extend it 2 months and get it in writing.

Thanks for the post. Yeah, once MM finally gets the car, and we figure out when I might get it we will be having that conversation. MM has been great through this whole process and I'm confident they will work with me to get those two+ months back.
