Speaking of C8 problems, unfortunately my Front End Lift reservoir cap seal issue has returned. I am going to send these pics to the GM QA manager as well.
The seal clearly sucked back into the damn cap, and DOT4 fluid has blown past and is ALL OVER THE PLACE, all over the strut tower cover too (which will turn very brittle soon).

I believe the newest blue cap design eliminated the diaphragm and just has a gasket now.

Hmm, shame. I left my wrist sweat band I had used on my black cap on my blue one. Will have to check for any leaks. I also have my fluid level about an 1/8 inch below the top reservoir seam, which solved the leak issue with the black cap. If you have more, not needed and might be the cause.
