Are you using a knife to operate your touchscreen? Putting a screen protector on a glass screen that you touch with the tips of your fingers is like wearing a mask while driving your car alone with the windows up, both totally useless 😷

So you don’t use a fully functional infotainment screen with great functions because you don’t want finger prints that you can simply wipe off with a microfiber towel.

Exactly what I am using - well worth the small cost to prevent any accidental damage. It was a top priority for accessories.

Of course I use it. I use a small sunglasses cloth I keep handy. I just wrap it around my finger when I touch the screen.

I put the xpel protector on mine. I don't want to wait until it's scratched or there's a dull spot on the screen to find out that it's possible. Is the screen actually glass? If it's gorilla glass or equivalent, you have a point about leaving it naked, but it felt more like a hard plastic to me. The xpel cover seems to shed fingerprints better than the bare screen, which is another benefit.

I always ran one on my C7 once I started seeing a dull spot on the screen in the most frequently touched areas.

You don't need plastic on casting couches, just use Goo-Gone.

Expel has a nice screen protector that covers the complete screen and has a 12 year warranty. Takes them about 30-45 minutes to install. Protects the screen from hand oils which will reduce the screen shine

But won’t the hand oils reduce the shine on the screen protectors?🤷🏻‍♂️

I never removed the plastic film that came on the screen at delivery...

One thing I've learned on this forum is that many Corvette owners love to cover up every surface possible with films and protectors. It's amazing. Better to live with ugly things over surfaces so the next guy can enjoy it as intended I guess.
