I tried parallel parking for the first time in my week old c8. Very difficult because of poor visibility
Lmao, took my drivers test in 71, in a 1967 Chevy Van/ no windows, only side mirrors and aced it. Still drive a 1967 Chevy G90 van, 1973 Chevy G10 van both w no windows today w no problemo, It's a skillset, if you cannot do it with back up camera, mirrors and windows, you might want to take a refresher course...jm2c Space Truckin Orange Bang
One of my best friends has this exact same van in orange! His is a bit more beat up... used as a shop vehicle to haul stuff from home depot or to haul dirt bikes. Has new engine and roof sealant... pretty awesome!
Not sure if 1LT has them but 2/3 LT has Reverse Tilt Mirrors that can be set to see the curb when in Reverse and your mirror and Park Assist makes this car very easy to Parallel Park (although it took me a few tries to become comfortable).
How do I enable the reverse tilt mirrors? I don't think I saw it in the settings. I only saw some folding settings which didn't make sense. I have 2LT.

It’s usually the switch that lets you adjust the mirrors. Slide it to the right and when you go in reverse the passenger mirror will tilt down.

Under Vehicle personalization: Page 97 You dont need to position the mirrors they just move down.

What exactly do you find to be limited in visibility with your corvette?
Which visibility options do you have on your car and which do you use? (cameras, sensors, mirrors, etc)
Have you had any other experiences with specific cars/trucks that had similar limited visibility?
Which car(s)/truck(s) have you had in the past that provided excellent visibility?

Perfectly legitimate question that could have come from anyone not fully familiar with the car yet. I'm not even involved in this discussion, and I found it condescending and offensive. Our shared goal should be to help others, not make them feel foolish for asking questions.
