Are you sure that you're looking at the odometer, which is on the lower left side of the instrument panel?, OR the estimated range left in the tank which is on the right side of the IP next to the gas gauge? Many other CF members have made this mistake before. May want to make sure before you talk to your dealer...

Yeah, we need more information. Was it an order, or are you buying it off the lot? If you ordered the car, and it really has 400mi on the OD, I'd be calling Chevy customer care immediately. If it was sitting on the lot, then yeah, it probably got demo'd. Since you have no bargaining power in this environment, you'd have to decide if you want to buy a demo or walk away. Personally, I'd walk. 400mi is almost broken in and I would wager they haven't been a gentle 400mi. It could be totally fine, or it could have future issues from ground up DCT gears. Who knows.
