I think the 3LT interior looks better, but I'll probably end up going 2LT because I don't want to pay extra and have dash delamination issues. Even at the same price, I'd be hesitant. I'm also probably going jet black interior and GT2 seats, so from what I have seen, doesn't make a huge difference. I do like the black with red stitching in the 3LT, but again not worth the risk of delamination hassle for me. I do like the 3LT steering wheel horn better, but the 2LT "cheap rubber horn" is no different than what many Lamborghinis and Ferrari's have in their interiors. That being said, I might consider buying the aftermarket 3LT horn replacement at some point because it does look better.

The soft touch interior wrap in the 1LT/2LT is Alura Elite by Haartz which is TPO:

Bader also has non-bonded leather, specifically their automobile leather. I can tell you the 3LT leather doesn't look anything like their kollamat.

1LT and 2LT are made from bonded leather. 3LT leather isn't. Go look at 3LT leather. even the finest bonded leather/Kollamat doesn't look like the 3LT leather. GM clearly states the bolstered surfaces of the GT2 seats are napa leather, but they call the rest of the 3LT leather just "leather".

I agree Bader has non-bonded leather, it is their main business. They are likely the source of the Napa leather used in the GT2/competition seating surfaces.

Kollamat can be produced in a variety of grain patterns. Take a look at all the different grain patterns that scroll across this website:
https://materialdistrict.com/material/kollamat/
Here is one that has a grain texture similar to the 3LT leather:

The only place GM claims leather is used (other than the seats) is in the 3LT interior. It is unlikely GM is using leather in the 1LT/2LT interiors and not taking credit for it. The graphic below specifically states that Alura Elite for the interior wrap:

Real leather (whether or not it is Napa leather) won't have a fabric backing. The backside will have a suede texture. The reports of leather removed from areas other than the Napa seating surfaces haven't shown this.

That still has a texture. I'm saying the 3LT doesn't.

I bounced back and forth between 2LT and 3LT, but in the end I went with the 3LT because I wanted to go with the Tension Blue/Twilight Blue seats and interior.

The point is Kollamat can be processed with any surface texture desired just like fully synthetic materials. Just because it has a smooth surface texture doesn't mean it is made from a whole animal hide.

The truth is we don't know what it is. The GT2 seats do say nappa, but the 3LT just says "leather wrapped interior" - which is not a claim made on the 1LT or 2LT even though those are synthetic leathers. Assuming it isn't or is something because of the GT2 seat description is wild conjecture. Sure would be nice if we could get an answer from someone at GM. They seem to like to keep certain things in the realm of the mystical.
