I’ve used these for 4 generations over the last 20+ years. Each generation required me to shave down the rail insert but they work fine. Tracking requires the car to be serviced a lot.
I think the more important tool is the metal I use under the jack to make sure it rolls. Folks have had problems not allowing the jack to move freely and it pulling out from under the car..
This is not correct. I have the Paragon pucks and a 5VM side skirts to boot. Car is also lowered .75" all around. I can easily lift it with my QuickJack TLX 5000 using the shorter of the two sets of rubber blocks that came with the QuickJack. Clears the underside of the rockers and side skirts just fine.
Agreed...same here with the Amazon pucks...no issues with my QuickJack, either.

Your C7 pucks will likely be just fine. Not sure on the tow hook, though.

I don't think your c7 pucks will fit. The holes in the frame rails are smaller and rounder. As I posted above I've had to take a dremel to my 20 yo pucks with each generation as the holes have gotten narrower and smaller.
The below work evenly as well in the C7 and C8, I assume others would as well. Perhaps with the exception of homemade pucks.

It literally takes me about 90 seconds to remove these from my frunk and install them.
