My '23 2LT/MSRC had this upgrade (or another one about the same time), the first since I got the car in May. I did not check the fine print, so I don't know what it was for.
My wife's '21 1LT had several updates shortly after we got it (Nov '21) but I don't think she has had one since.

No update in forever, now 2 back to back. GM must’ve found me 🤫 Did my second update last night without any issues but I did leave my phone in the car just in case. I’ll try again without it next time and see if any negative effect.

I did one a couple of days ago and the car would no longer connect to my phone. Ended up deleting and re-adding the phone. The last update de-linked the display with the drive modes and reset the equalizer to flat (which is all I've noticed, so far).

An owner can't delete an update once it is successfully installed.
