Tap on the lines in the upper left corner. Click on 'Settings'. It will take to a screen with 'Lock'. Tap on that. You can only do it from your phone, not the display that comes with the Soler.

Found it thanks! This locks out the accelerator pedal? Will the car still start?

Click on the three bar menu on the top left of the screen, then settings (on Android - might be a little different on an iPhone).

Yes, but pushing on the pedal does nothing. You can still shift it into neutral, drive or reverse, and probably crawl away.

I’ll conduct an experiment in mine today.

Update: The car does exactly this:

I finally got around to installing my Soler throttle controller today. Very noticeable difference. The very first thing I noticed about my C8 on the first drive was the lazy throttle response. This, indeed, fixes that. I took a short drive and played around with a few different sport settings and even gave ludicrous a try. I settled on Sport 5 for now, but may end up dialing it back 1 or 2. Overall, a great product. Another satisfied customer.

FYI - the "AI" setting uses Sport 5 as it's baseline and makes adjustments from there based on your driving style.

Any difference in gas mileage that you noticed? This may be one of very few mods I do on my C8.

Just purchased the soler TC. Any recommendations on where/how to mount the display so that it doesn't ruin the look of the interior ? Was hoping to put it somewhere incognitio but still accessible.

I just hid mine under the carpet, if I remember correctly. No reason to see it. But I do remember reading about some folks mounting it bi the center console and hiding the wire.

Don't install the display, just download the app and access that way!

One last question I just finished the install (Pretty easy to be honest) - The video says to press and hold the "Mode" button until the number 800 appears. When I do press and hold I get a different screen, Something like MLOCK ALOCK etc.. The app works but wondering if I still need to do any throttle calibration etc ?

There's no calibration needed. I don't remember any instructions to press and hold the mode button, but I installed mine a couple of years ago, so....

IIRC, this is the step to pair the controller with your phone.
