Installed mine yesterday. Had a minor issue and freaked out! I guess I didn't leave the door open long enough when I started the installation and the system was still energized! The car did not like this, and would not start or run! Quickly called Soler and much to my surprise, a real person answered the phone (Louis). He calmly told me to just disconnect the battery for 15 to 20 minutes and I should be "good to go". He was absolutely correct. Thanks to him and Soler for being available, when I needed it. Car ran great after that, Lesson learned. Left it for now in Sport 4. Much better than stock. Next time I'm out, I'll try some more settings to find my personal sweet spot.
Can someone post a great soler setting ? Just ordered
It's all up to the individual. Start with something not too drastic, like Sport 1, and then bump it up a couple of clicks at a time. You'll find a setting that's right for you. I was on Sport 5 for a while, but decided it was a little abrupt in day to day driving so dropped to Sport 4. Some people like it higher.

Just an FYI, if you use "AI" mode, it starts in SPORT 5
Question: I have one of these on my C8 and I love it so much I want one for my C7 Z06. Would the Bluetooth app on my phone be able to control the 2 units in 2 separate cars or would that cause a conflict?

That's actually an interesting question. There's enough of theses devices out there, that someone on this forum would have them in more than one vehicle. Maybe they will chime in.
We know our phones are capable of handling multiple Bluetooth devices. Comes down to the app. Will it allow you to pair a second device with a separate code? Will you be able to chose between say, Vehicle 1, Vehicle 2? If not, whatever the last setting was, would automatically apply to the next vehicle you started. That's only an issue if you want to run different settings, in each vehicle. Of course, the simple solution is to run one of the vehicles with the controller that comes with the unit. But that doesn't answer your original question. I'm sure the good people at Soler would be happy to answer that for you.
By the way, I'm jealous that you own both a C8 and a C7 Z06.

So I just went from Sport 6 to Ludicrous 1. (Tour mode)
Much better acceleration with no hesitation and no notchiness.
Interesting note, the downshifting while slowing down and coming to a stop was MUCH smoother as well.
I'm thinking of course every car motor is different in response, you definitely have to experiment to find your car's sweet spot, and even if you're satisfied, try a different setting after a while just to see, which is what I did...

I'll give that a shot today. I'm running sport 8. I think I must be the only person that isn't blown away by this thing. I'd buy it again at sub $200 but it's not night and day for me. I went back to oem yesterday after several months to see if that would change my mind, but it really didn't. I found I immediately subconsciously compensated by using more gas pedal.

When you set up the app, you have to give it the 4 digit ID of the device, so I think to control a second you would have to go into the app and switch the ID to the new device. Then switch it back to the old one if you wanted to make a change to that one. But I've found that once I settled on a choice, I don't actually change it. So once you get it set where you want it with the wired control head, you could just disconnect it and leave it alone.

Thanks! At one point I thought about trading my Z06 in on the C8, but when the time came I couldn't get rid of it. That thing is just such a beast...I can't see myself ever selling it now. I'm going to be the guinea pig on this because I just ordered a 2nd Soler Controller for it this morning. As soon as I get it installed I will report back and let everyone know how the app handles 2 different cars.
Edit: Just saw Kracka's response. Good to know the app controls multiple devices.
Mine gave an issue when shifting from 5-6. Was using comfort 2-3 or sport 1-3. The trans would slip the shift and the revs jump up like the clutch was slipping. Took off the Soler and hasn’t done it again.

Did you ask Mike for a warranty replacement? Sounds like an electrical glitch of some type. Very odd...can't say I've ever experienced that.
