Default 2024 Launch Control

This is my second C8. First one was a 2021.
Did a search on the forum and could not find a previous discussion on the 2024 Launch Control.
Launch control setup is different on the 2024.
Reading through the Owner's Manual it mentions a custom setup and I thought it was referring to the Z06.
Playing with mine the other day and it also has a custom setup. Slightly different from the Z06, which can be set up to a max of 5000 rpm. The stingray goes from 3000 to 4000 rpm in 250 rpm increments and 5% to 15% slippage. I forgot what the increments were on the slippage.
Anyone else noticed or tried this, or is there a discussion I missed?

Did three launches:
3500 @ 10% = 2.9 sec
3500 @ 5% = 2.8 sec
4000 @ 5% = 2.7 sec

Didn't take any pics of the results.

I want to start messing with this. Unfortunately our local dragstrip closed down and law enforcement loves seeing stuff like this.

Thank you for posting your results. What kind of surface were you in?

Great post, I was wondering what the best setting would be after I stumbled on the menu.

I'm wondering if it matters? The defaults would seem to do the trick.

The "Custom Launch Control" feature is on page 217-218 of the 2023 owners manual, but the qualifier is "If Equipped". I believe but not 100% sure that feature was limited to the Z06 in 2023. I need to check.

That's only with a Z51 package with ELS differential...

Maybe, but why offer a option to fine tune launch control.

Wonder if this can be added to the 2020-2023 with a simple software update...

…I’ve got a ‘24 1LT non-Z51 and all-though I haven’t attempted a launch control run, I seem to remember seeing all of those options in my settings too…I’ll double check today to confirm…

I do have launch control, but after playing around in all my settings for the past 10 mins, I don’t seem to have the same options as the OP’s Z51…maybe I just saw it when I was reading the manual…I remember seeing it somewhere for my ‘24, so it must’ve been when I was reading the manual…

Not related to the launch control, but your steering wheel caught my attention. What steering wheel do you have?

The kind of feature we'd like to see in software updates for older cars. Disappointing

Do you have to have 1,800 miles to utilize? I am not able to activate and the manual is lacking....
