Anyone ever considered putting their C8 on Turo? Before we bought ours we looked at the site to rent one for a test drive (because at the time no dealer was test driving C8s around us) and there were a few. Not sure how comfortable I'd be about allowing someone to do this to ours, so these people have a lot of faith in humanity.
After seeing first hand people driving turo cars like they stole them I would not recommend it. Someone driving a car they may never get to drive again will always push its limits.
Do it if you can spare a C8 primarily as a disposable business expense along with the cost of maintenance to keep cash flowing. Don't do it if you have any emotional attachment that takes priority. There's a C8 YouTuber (channel: Saimah's Experience) who rented out her C8 on Turo. She also rented out a C7 on Turo prior. But she viewed them as cash cows as primary and cool toys at her disposal as secondary.

Beware also if you don't let your insurance company know and a renter wrecks it they can deny repair, based on fraudulent disclosure of car use as a rental. If you let them know, as you should, your rates will sky rocket. Also consider personal liability.if someone kills themselves or others in your car, lawsuits will be eminent, and unless you have incorporated, your personal wealth could be at risk.
I’m sure people rent much more expensive cars and for them it’s worth it. But if I were to even consider it I would really do some research and see how much people can make on average and see if it’s worth it to you. Weigh that cost and accept the fact that renters will not treat the car as well as you do and that there will be some more wear and tear due to this. Sure you don’t expect the car to be returned damaged but things like rock chips, minor door dings, wear on the seat bolsters should be things you expect to happen from the car not being babied as if you were the only one driving it.
