I just looked at my 2021 manual. That box labelled "Caution" does not exist anywhere. The image you responded to is from a 2023 manual. Please post an image of where your 2021 manual has the "Caution" in it. I don't believe it exists. I believe 2023 was the first year the "Cautiion" box appeared, and even then it didn't specify an interval.

As for people worrying a about warranty issues, I think GM would have a very hard time enforcing a requirement on older C8s that wasn't communicated to owners, and in many cases to dealer, until the mileage mentioned in that requirement was long past. That's essentially changing a contract after the fact. If the filter was changed within a reasonable distance of 7500 miles, and again at around 22,500 miles, I don't GM will fight over it. If, OTOH, the filter was never changed, or not changed until 10K or 15K miles, then you're probably out of luck on warranty.
