Default Center screen with Android

Hello again guys.

Newbie question I guess : Driving tonight I noticed that my center screen is not full screen when I use it with my (Android) phone. Seemed to me that it was full screen before but the car is still very new to me so I can be wrong. I must say I don't really like the red backgroud and the whole thing seems a bit unfinished and odd (see picture), like there's more space above the phone layout than below. Note that the screen is full when I use it for all other usage (like the integrated google street nav).

Are your cars like this also ?

Thanks guys.

This is normal. The native system uses the entire screen, AA does not. I had the same issue... didn't look right. There is an AA setting that allows you to mirror your phone background on your infotainment screen. If you pick a dark or black background (not red), and make sure AA uses that background, it will look a lot more normal/integrated. What I see in your pic is messy, mine was too until I found this fix that worked for me.

Side note: I'm not a huge fan of AA, its better in some ways than the native software and worse in others. If all my cars were GM, I'd get used to it and use the native setup. Because my DD is a Honda and I want the same phone/music/nav experience in both cars, I use AA and get used to the flaws.

Oh man thank you, now I get it. I recently changed the background on my phone (my red seats...), hence the red background. Dummy me !!!
